I have to say that this is what brings the race down. When people think black American, they think of ghetto trash like this.

Because when people don't have anything, they protect what they do have, and the energy they put into defending that little bit of nothing--their space or their pride--is an attempt to show power.

To people who have nothing but desire for material things, and who suffer from envy of those who have more, there is no peace inside. They want to take what they need and feel entitled to take it from you.

They fight for their turf--clear example in both videos--the tazer incident and the french guy on the bus. In both cases, females became loud and even violent about any indication that their free movement and their space was being infringed or invaded.

So, this is why "education" is the only way to shape the expectations, and give better tools for communicating.

As for behavioral traits that become grist for ethnic humor, it is both true and very cruel to point them out. When you mock someone's basic humanity, you shouldn't be surprised at their backlash.

But then everyone is hidden on these forums, to some degree. So it feels safe to snicker at it. This also helps to dispel some of the fear that "whitey" obviously has about cultural stereotypes of black people in the ghetto.

You're kidding, right? You do realize that blacks were a tiny portion of the population and rather isolated into argicultural areas where they did only the most unskilled labor?

There were not enough of them to have made any difference and unless you consider picking cotton that essential, they had little to no bearing. It's hardly rocket science.

And considering the work ethic, even that is questionable. Slavery was already on it's way out long before the Civil War as it was proving financially unfeasible. Cheaper to pay a wage per hour than incur cradle to grave upkeep.
