Madame X (OP) User ID: 24537691 Canada 01/28/2013 07:33 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Thanks for the pin. Went to grab a bite and viola! I do wonder why the entire visa system went down, I want to know which third party. I mean, usually merchants systems read the cards and batch the purchase if the system goes offline for a short time. Something isn't right. I was worried I was missing out one hell of a rewards program. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 12418910 Wasn't that funny when it went down though. Automated systems require reliability. I was at WallyWorld around 3:50 when my card was declined. Thought the hubby didn't pay the bill. Nope...it was just declined due to software maintenance or upgrade. I called on it. Still, keep an eye on your Visa cards though for weird shenanigans. |

WindyMind User ID: 26518293 United States 01/28/2013 11:53 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It's kind of weird because I don't usually carry much cash but due to unusual circumstance I have more than I have ever carried before. I didn't really mean to do it. I will always remember the hurricane Sandy victims saying that only cash was accepted. And now Visa crashing..... |
