01/09/13 robert young pelton appeared on coast to coast am and spoke about geopolitics and war trends. at the end of the program:

john b. wells: i would like for you to just say whatever you want by way of a message to inspire, motivate and otherwise excite people to a future that they might be able to achieve if they'd just go ahead and take the action and do it and to hell with the odds of accomplishing it or not and to hell with how much money you might need to accomplish it.

robert young pelton: man was built on risk. we got to where we are because people crossed the deserts, because they sailed to new lands, and we seem to have lost that momentum, we seem to be just sitting. so i just would encourage people to regain some of that zest for life and some of the sense of perspective and respect you get for all the things you have here by just going to where they dream of going.

john b. wells: and the first step, i suppose, is just pack your bag.

robert young pelton: you don't even need a bag. just stick some cash in your pocket and get on a plane.

i believe in this and i have believed in it for a long time, though i have never been able to gather up the courage to apply this belief to my own life. what robert young pelton said, reaffirmed my belief in a way. has anybody here done this before? it'd be amazing to read your story. and, if i did this, well, how much cash do you believe a person would need to stick in their pocket to make it happen?
