I can't believe you people ar arguing if it's green screens or some other shit.

Do you tards want to know how he did it?

Baguettes are very light and fluffy. Therefore they can be compressed easily. The large baguette is vaccum-bagged (like a space saver bag) and stored in a hidden area in his sleeve/shirt. Then he pulls it out and it fluffs back up.

You're all fucking stupid.

sherlock it's fucking magic.

I meant fake as in he didn't pull anything even close to that size out of his hand without camera help.

You can see it if you watch it closely.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 33241909

Yes it is definitely fake, as in video editing, not a chance he can do that in .person...

Then it's not a baguette as we know it in France. A real french baguette is not fluffy and cannot be compressed.

Re: A magician pulls a real 3 foot bread stick out of his hand!
Okay - I've got to know.

How can a magic trick be "gay"??

As for the magician, he's slightly built and Asian. He has smaller bones than an average caucasian male. But that doesn't make him gay. It's just his body type which is mostly a result of his genetics. With the stamina of youth on his side - and the fact that he's probably quite popular with the girls because of his magic abilities - this kid is probably getting more sex than we can remember - on a weekly basis!

About the only possibility left is that you're referring to the phallic nature of the shape of the french bread? I've seen some well endowed guys in my day and I'm not doing badly in that area, myself... But 36" - three feet? The only phallus I know of that is anywhere near that size is on a horse - literally. I'm not even sure that bulls are that well hung. But then I never measured a bulls penis, either?? But then who knows what evil lurks in someones loosely fitting khakis' ??

fake (and a bit gay)

Re: A magician pulls a real 3 foot bread stick out of his hand!
Could it be using a foam piece carved and painted to look very nearly like a real baguette but of course you could not slice it and eat a piece of it. But almost any kind of foam/latex/sponge/etc, of the proper density could be made to look like the shape of a baguette. The rest of it is simply a really convincing paint job on the foam shaped like the baguette.

I can't believe you people ar arguing if it's green screens or some other shit.

For goodness sake, the other video shows how it is faked with video editing.

Yep got to agree. I watched all his vids and the more obvious tricks requiring video editing and multiple accomplices are dissapointing. For me they well overstepped the bounds of reasonable suspension of disbelief - a critical mistake for an illusionist.

Other than that I think Yif is on a par with the best young talent I enjoy watching. That almost otherworldly "faye" quality he has about him is well suited to the art.

Cyril Takayama is another goodie.

1 But these took this counsel among themselves, that they would leave the multitude of the heathen, and go forth into a further country, where never mankind dwelt,
42 That they might there keep their statutes, which they never kept in their own land.
43 And they entered into Euphrates by the narrow places of the river.
44 For the most High then shewed signs for them, and held still the flood, till they were passed over.
45 For through that country there was a great way to go, namely, of a year and a half: and the same region is called Arsareth.
46 Then dwelt they there until the latter time; and now when they shall begin to come,

I agree it did look good.

However given the size of the loaf it was impossible to conseal it on himself so there was really only two ways this trick could have been done. Either it was being passed to him by a helper hiding behind mirrors (which I thought unlikely) or it was Chris Angel style film editing.

Re: A magician pulls a real 3 foot bread stick out of his hand!
When I was in vegas with some buds we were at Dre's after hours and I guess they hired this magician to entertain guests... anyways, the guy comes up to our group and we're all standing there having a smoke, he asks for a smoke but doesn't take it from me, he asks me to just hold my hand out flat and put the smoke on it.

So here I am, standing there surrounded by friends and this magician, with MY cigarette sitting in the middle of my open palm extended out infront of me in the center of 6-7 guys.... and suddenly the smoke lifts off my hand, does a corkscrewing vertical lift and flies RIGHT INTO THE MAGICIANS MOUTH! I couldn't fking believe it...

One of my friends who was with me ended up getting verrrry seriously into magic after that happened, and although he learned some extremely good tricks that would awe massive street crowds he never could figure out how the trick was done with the smoke.

Then it's not a baguette as we know it in France. A real french baguette is not fluffy and cannot be compressed.

Of course it can. There are different types of baguettes and I've been plenty times to France, buying fluffy baguettes.

if you look closely to when he pulls the baguette out you can see a green tinge on his arm and what he puts he elbow on for when he removes the loaf.

it's pretty nifty, but it's staged and edited. you can also see lousy post production artifacts such as shifty background/rendered limbs etc. really cheaply done as well.

it's all green screen.

i love how all y'all are this and this and that and when an obviously fake video shows up... eh forget about it. fake video is fake.

It has to be a video trick.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1011606

It's not. It's a visual trick used often to fool idiots like you.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 33255216

You do know that Video IS Visual right?

This is a combination of slight of hand tricks and video manipulation. Download the videos, play in slow motion and you will see missed frames and movement jumps where scenes were cut (very well done) and/or blue-screen scenes and the "witnesses" are almost always in on it.
 Quoting: Veresanctus

No it's not. It can be performed live you moron.

The video editing is just for making it even more convincing, but they didn't edit anything out of or into the video. It's simply highlighting angles known for magik tricks.

There's no way that you can compress that baguette that's like 3 feet long into the size of his girly little asian palm... sorry, but it's just not possible. Not with it decompressing and looking anything like the original.

Far more likely to be edited out. Having seen "impossible" tricks be done and having been to the criss angel show where you see like 100 "impossible" things, real life, real time magic can be insanely hard to figure out. This guy might be able to pull this trick off live, I don't know, but just cause you morans don't understand something don't just automatically assume it's all CGI. Go and see a live show like criss angel where there's zero cgi but tons of impossible shit happens.
