Thunderstorms in Minnesota and it's January???? | |

Yesterday, there was a Winter Storm Warning for this area and we had one hell of an ice storm. Now, tonight we are getting slammed with heavy rain, lightning and thunder, and the potential for severe storms. It's definitely strange to be in Minnesota, observing a strong thunderstorm with heavy rain, lightning, and thunder, while standing by what is left of a snow bank in the middle of winter.  To be upset over what you don't have, is to waste what you do have... |

Last week, the low temperatures here got down to -15F with wind chills in the -30F to -40F. Yesterday, we had a Winter Storm Warning here, and now it's pouring rain outside, with thunder and lightning. Something isn't right here.
