Why the fuck did they feel the need to reboot Robocop?

You reboot movies that actually need it.

Is Hollywood so creatively bankrupt they now have to feed off the dead like ghouls to make money?

The original Robocop is still an awesome movie, far more depth than most people remember.
Great story about concepts way ahead of their time, dystopian future, the merging of man and machine and man trying to rediscover his humanity etc.

Anyway yeah, it's getting pretty negative vibes from the internet so far tbh.

Ah I remember this movie... it's the one about the skinny kid with the big nose doing an impression of Christopher Reeve's Clark Kent.

I remember going to see this and when the intro kicks in and you hear the theme, my eyes got a little misty.

Afterwards those tears of joy turned into sobs of disappointment.

Yeah, it's a shitty fan made trailer (it says so in the channel vid description, not that you need that to tell... dig those awful fonts) and the 1985 reference is wrong.

Not only that but the remake isn't actually out until 2014... so both years in the "trailer" are actually wrong.
