Nothing as dramatic as this story but my daughter showed signs of having lived before and said she was shot dead by the police. From birth she would scream when she heard a siren (even ambulance and fire) and as soon as she could walk she would hide and try to get me to hide too.

When she was three years old we were walking through the park and my friends house backed onto the play area. My friend had got pregnant and also had a little girl about 5 months after me. She glanced towards the house and said " I nearly picked Catherine to be my Mummy but I thought she would leave me so then I found you and chose you instead"

I couldn't understand why she thought my friend would leave her as she had trying really hard for her second child and adored her but 3 years later my friend left her husband and 2 girls and moved to Thailand with another man.

My daughters 12 now and has no memory of any of this and I regret not talking to her more about it at the time.
