1. One of the biggest uranium plants is in Niger.
2. The French have the contracts to supply the UK with future nuclear power.
3. We want to control the supply of that uranium.
4. We do not want others to dictate the supply of it and blackmail us.

Uranium is the new oil. And not forgetting we need the use of the French aircraft carrier as we don't have one..... And what aircraft would you be using, I thought the Harrier Force has been scrapped?
