The "Ravens" reference is a joke... The jersey is paying homage to the current mayor of Pittsburgh, Like Ravenstahl. Nice try though  Was shedding of blood and rending of hair, Rape of maiden, and slaughter of priest, Gathering of ravens and wolves to the feast.In Anglo-Saxon literature, the raven is depicted as the bird of battle, and to Woden belong the dead of battle. With the event of a battle, ultimately comes death. One side or the other falls, and the wolf, the raven and the eagle appear to eat the flesh of the fallen.
