There is a theory which states that if ever anybody discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another theory which states that this has already happened.

Its a great book.

I can STRONGLY recomment Nick Bostrom as well:

I am 100% sre that we are right in the paradigm shift now......and I mean NOW :-)

We are extremely close to proof - and when you dig into it, a beatutifull world of new possibilities unfold.

As above - so below :-)

OP, I have a feeling, it has something to do with aether, there is some component to it that we have not figured out yet, but I feel we are right on the brink of discovering and it will change everything forever.

and I will add this platitude.....all in good time.

Fantastic Thread!!

Re: Quantum mechanics show that there is NO MASS...and thats a gamechanger
At the Super String level there is a phasing in/out between matter/energy. In other words, the components of every atom within our bodies and our world is constantly vibrating (phasing, alternating) between matter and energy at a very high rate of speed. Team A will say, "A-hah! See, all is matter." Team B will say, "A-hah! All is energy." Both teams are correct...sort of.

Another part of the equation is gravity (attraction). As more molecules attract together they create more gravity. In fact, their synergistic combination behaves in a way that we define as mass.

Another part of the equation is spirit (intention). This may also be defined as intelligence. I like how a previous poster on this thread described this functionality: "The Observer becomes part of the experiment and is no longer merely an observer, but part of a larger equation."

What makes this present 3D experience fun, enjoyable, and exciting for us is the mystery of it all. As hard as we try to figure it out we simply cannot do so at our current range of vibrations. There are vibrations beyond our observable range that provide the fabric for our current vibratory level. Therefore, to discover the definitive answer to matter/energy and define our world at our current level (vibration) is impossible. It is like a circular definition where one uses the term(s) being defined as part of the definition.

For Pete's sake. There is no Aether.

It was conjured up during ancient times, and thankfully went the way of the Dodo during the late 19th-early 20th century due to advances in physics.

You seem to be mistaking unfounded theories that have no data and cannot make predictions or be used to create repeatable results with ones that do.

Aether. I like it. That could be the answer, or at least, the next level of the answers.

If I could define Aether I may describe it as: The fabric of space/time that provides the mesh (matrix) for energy/matter to interact at our oscillatory level providing our current experience. It is a type of quantum plasma intelligently designed and able to interactively respond to conditions and stimuli provided by the attaching energy/matter. It is the flexible glue holding my house of cards.

If we were able to identify Aether and verify its integration within our world that would be great. However, I suggest that this would only lead us to the next level of questions.

Awesome definition QQ, way beyond what I could have come up with as I am a big picture person. I think we can ask the next vibratory level of it and it will respond. Agree, would lead to next level of questions, but also experiences which should be a hoot. I think Tesla pulled energy from the aether if I'm not mistaken.

Just what material are you using to fill your body mass. Some materials are much more dense, therefore weigh much more than another material with the exact same geometric dimensions. If you are talking about the Archimedes' principle, then you are talking about displacement. The weight of the displaced fluid is directly proportional to the volume of the displaced fluid (if the surrounding fluid is of uniform density)the weight of the object in water is less than the weight of object in air, Because of the force acting on it which is called as upthrust.

What you describe there sounds almost like a Higgs field. Basically all elementary particles get their masses from their interactions with the Higgs field, kind of like being 'slowed down' by passing through a thick syrup.
