Scots want to join the euro? Had no idea about this, thought they just wanted out of UK. It's gonna be hard for the Welsh to go through with this imo.

Deputy First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has written to EU foreign ministers outlining the role of Scotland as a "constructive member" of the European community.

Yeah i know they want to stay in EU and NATO but join the euro currency? Scottish finance minister said they won't join the euro this week i think.

I don't think they would be joining the currency, that would be a bad mistake lol

And bankers always have a way of sticking their ore in they run the world by what we have seen

The problem is The United Kingdom is in Europe, under the terms set by Europe any new country joining will have to use the Euro. Whether the Scots and Welsh like it, they would be classed as 'new' countries and as such will have to except the Euro as their currency. This is all being played down, however it is in the terms laid forth and if Europe is not willing to re-negotiate our terms, who really thinks they will give a fuck about the Welsh and Scots

Scotland I hate to say it, but if you vote for independence it is going to be about the shortest lived independence ever.

Remember we've already been fucked since Heath with Europe, they wanted a federal Europe with no borders or separate countries, go and have a look, but the governments be it red, blue or yellow have fucked us for their own benefit, Major fucked us with Maastricht and Bliar and Gormless with Lisbon, and muppet, well he doesn't even think we deserve a chance to vote on it. Not that I believe we'd ever get the chance.

Ukip have some strange policies, bit like the tea party in the US, a bit of religion mixed with politics, but at least they'd give us the vote before anyone else
