Sheriff of Idaho's largest county sides with Feds

Many others have indulged that pressure and now we see Oregon sheriffs, Wyoming legislators and others making hollow promises to protect you from the intrusions of the federal government. Let me respectfully remind you that we are the federal government, the state government and the local government.

I did not swear to uphold just part of the Constitution. Our Constitution includes the right to keep and bear arms, but it also includes the “supremacy clause” that says that every state shall abide by the laws passed by our Congress.

a wise man...he is right on the button regarding local sheriffs that grand stand with their hollow promises to "take on the feds". as much as these demagogues pound their chests and pander to their sheep, they---the demagogues---would cave if ever confronted with the full power of federal forces. fortunately it will never come to that.

Lines are being drawn, no fence sitting allowed in the coming shit storm. Citizens that obey unconstitutional gun laws end up face down in a trench with bullet holes in their backs, fight standing up like a man or on your knee's like a slave.

During the first decades of our country, and up into Andrew Jackson's presidency, all laws passed by congress had to be examined by the Supreme Court and verified as proper and legal within the boundaries established by the constitution.

After this was changed, by a corrupt congress (long story - had to do with them using public money to get re-elected), the congress was freed from its leash and their rulings began to deviate further and further from the original document until they now bear no resemblance whatsoever to the initial boundaries in which they could legislate.

That Idaho sheriff is twisting logic and words to meet a corrupt agenda. He knows better, but is working towards a dark end. The problem with the people determined to overthrow this country and establish their globalist dream is that they don't care at all about the laws of the United States, or how their actions will effect the lives of the people in their jurisdiction.

It's anything for the globalists, lie cheat steal whatever, as long as the desired outcome is achieved.

The constitution lays out limited jurisdictions in which different groups can legislate. There are a few for the federal government, some for the states and the rest reserved for the people (individual choices). The congress can no more legislate on guns than I can order my neighbor, a Muslim from Africa, to eat pork for breakfast. I have no jurisdiction on her household.

I live in Ada county I support our Constitution fully. I also own an AR-15 and several hunting rifles, and I am a woman. What drives me insane are all these people feaking out about our Constitutional rights being taken away, yet where in the hell were all of you when the Presidential directive for Homeland Security was signed, or the NDAA??? There are many, many, bills that have been passed which severely impinge on our freedoms and rights yet it was eerily quiet. I guess they just have to use the excuse it's to protect us from terrorists and everyone shuts up, or doesn't even realize there's a problem.
Now, the freaking out that is going on over these new gun laws is ridiculous. I fully support our rights to bear arms, but I do believe there should be limits considering our country is full of a bunch of dimwitted nut jobs who can't even begin to comprehend the rights we've already handed over without a peep.
