I also own an AR-15 and several hunting rifles, and I am a woman. What drives me insane are all these people feaking out about our Constitutional rights being taken away, yet where in the hell were all of you when the Presidential directive for Homeland Security was signed, or the NDAA??? There are many, many, bills that have been passed which severely impinge on our freedoms and rights yet it was eerily quiet. I guess they just have to use the excuse it's to protect us from terrorists and everyone shuts up, or doesn't even realize there's a problem. I am of course a conspiracy nut, so I do question many issues revolving around the gun issue, however, I don't really think what they are proposing does anything, it's already a law and they are adding a few things to it. But, there has been a startling trend toward taking away our rights, one by one and quietly, so I do have the thought in the back of my mind that IF they were up to something, than this would be a good start. |
