I have no problem with homosexuals but I have a bad feeling about this.

We used to have a scout leader called Michele (I think he must have been of French descent though you wouldn't know to listen to him).

He got ribbed so much by us scouts that he ended up changing his name (I dont think by deed poll) but within the scouts at least to... *drum roll*....

Looking back scouts was awful, if I had kids I wouldn't let them join. One of the other scoutmasters was telling filthy lurid stories round the camp fire one camping weekend. Think I was about 11 at the time. Not good really.

i thought it was the same reason you don't let men be girlscout leaders

to keep teen and preteens from sexual predation by adults

if this is one of the reasons for those restrictions .. leaders of the same sex for girl and boy scouts .. it makes absolutely no sense to allow gay adults to be scout leaders
