Maurice Larrivee allegedly showed up this Sunday morning at a grocery store to buy a case of two dozen beers at 8:45. [link to ca.news.yahoo.com] Talk about a problem!! 17 times getting caught?? Where does the disconnect??? The idiot drunk not understanding that drinking and driving is wrong. Or the law that keeps allowing this idiot behind the wheel? I'm with the latter as this drunk doesn't see it's a problem.

If he has never been involved in an accident then I don't see the problem. Caught 17 times, probebly done it hundreds of times and if he can do it without crashing then more power to him. I don't think so, he's up there with the others laying low, vying with those who you've traded your life to to bless your soul,

Quoting: NSF001 Really? I was a drinker at one time and the thought never crossed my mind. Easy to get into problems, a bitch to get out of them. All it takes is a second and life is forever changed. I was more worried about the guilt of causing harm then what the charges might have been. After the second time, you should never drive again. If you injured anyone you lose your license for good. Driving is a privalige and not a right.
