"We didn't follow the traditional prevailing orthodoxies. And the end result four years later is that Iceland is enjoying progress and recovery."

Iceland's economy continues to progress as the countries in the EU decline. The president explains that you must let the banks fail instead of providing bailouts to keep them afloat.

Will people listen?

Of course not, they are too busy praising president Obama and the leaders of the UN.

I find myself wondering what Iceland's immigration policies are like...
Three Bribes for the Democrats sneaky and sly,
Seven for the Bankers in their halls of gold,
Nine for Labor Unions sucking us dry,
One for the Liar Chief leaving us cold
In Washington D.C. where politicians lie.

One Bill to rule them all, One Bill to find them,
One Bill to bring them all and in the debt-ness bind them
In Washington D.C. where politicians lie.

Really Tough on non-Europeans. Basically, the Schengen Agreement allows any European person to enter another European country and find work ahead of a non-European. (So, an Icelandic Business must prove through a long paperwork trail that they exhaustedly searched for Europeans to fill their job openings before they can hire a non-European.)

I wouldn't mind moving there or to Switzerland if I could pass their immigration policies on non-Europeans.

I would rather the USA just get their act together and take an example from what is happening around the world.
