So the conclusion is that no one was walking around in circles.

But I wouldn't be surprised if they did circle through the compound - going inside, switching jackets and hats and purses and whatever else to give a different appearance as they make another round through the complex.... this is not far fetched but is conjecture. This is my opinion.
