Lol! I eat 2 Chobani pineapple Greek yogurts for breakfast, mid snack, lunch, and after lunch snack. I usually eat 16 oz of boiled shrimp and mccormick cocktail sauce for dinner along beer, scotch, or a nice Cab till bedtime. When I have the kiddo, I'll order pizza or go out to eat.

Every time I have my blood work done, my blood pressure and cholesterol levels come back perfect, not to mention I'm at about 9 or 10% body fat.

Obviously I change it up when I'm on a date, but other than that, I keep pretty much the same pattern. Drives my girlfriends up the wall.

I've done that OP. I only eat one meal a day but go through periods where it is always the same. I did the stouffer's salibury steak with mac and cheese frozen dinner for a year or so awhile back. Last year I did the stouffer's turkey tetrazini for about 6-8 months. I like good food and variety, but get busy with other things. It's just easier not to have to bother with it at times.

I did the same thing both times I was pregnant:

breakfast: 2 boiled eggs over toast, fruit & oj

lunch: tuna sandwhich, carrot salad, milk, fruit

dinner: chicken breast, large salad, sough dough bread, vegetable, milk & lemon pie

snacks: milk or fruit or carrots or celery or home-made lemon pie

Couldn't stand any other kind of food. Didn't miss any other food. My husband worried but dr. said he'd never seen such a healthy pregnant woman and both babies were healthy.

So don't think it hurts as long as it is balanced and no processed or junk food.

dinner: chili (beef and bean and tomato)


I cook just for myself, and I cook my lunch and dinner meals in bulk once a week. I buy once/week. I spend about $160-180/month on groceries depeding on how much condiments I buy that month.

- 4 lbs of chicken and 3 lbs of ground chuck a week
- 2 lbs of dry rice(Jasmine) and 2 lbs of dry beans(black and kidney) a week
- 36 eggs a week
- a 42oz container quick oatmeal about every 2 weeks
- 1 banana a day as snack
- a couple fruit and veggies added in as snack


I add in olive oil, macadamia nut oil, coconut oil, peanut butter, and some hot sauce and spices/flavorings and thats it. I take a multi-vit, vit B complex, vit B12, vit C, vit D, Cal/Mag/Zinc, salmon oil

I dont get tired of it at all. I feel healthier than Ive ever been.

Why not change it up... with really not adding anything extra to the plate.. Why not a beef/rice burrito... or chicken chill... or breakfast scrambled egg/chicken wrap in a tortilla with cheese.... There are so many varieties with even just what you have so it isn't monotonous?? Just saying! Stir fried chicken with veggies over rice... god I can go on and on..

Hey Holden, I have a meal routine very similar to yours. There are little variations throughout each meal but I do rely on cooking a big pot of stew or lentils or rice, etc. one day a week and that's my dinner for the week. Doesn't bother me in the least.

I put a banana, an orange, some kefir, a kiwi, a few baby carrots, a few spinach leaves, some frozen strawberries, cranberries and a peach slice in my Vitamix with some hemp hearts with maybe a few frozen blueberries, add some ice and sweetie pie and I have our breakfast. Then use it to wash down all my vitamins, lots of vit D3 and mega red.

my wife's 87 yr old aunt has done it for years.

but she changes the menu at least.
