Ascension of consciousness has absolutly nothing to do with what you consume and everything to do with the content of your character and level of awareness. You need to have a deep understanding of what you are, who you are, where you are, where you want to go, and what it takes to get there.
Now if we're talking about just being healthier then eating less meat or no meat is the way to go.
