what bible translation do you read? Jesus was a carpenter. He instructed his followers that were fisherman to LEAVE what they were doing, and to follow Him (and His ways), which didn't include eating meat.

Well after the flood there probably wasn't any plants left to eat so they had to kill and eat the meat that they brought in order to survive.

it depends on what one knows. There are some people, like myself at one time in the past that do not realize how mistreated the food animals are, which is a major factor to be considered. I quit meat because it stunk back, full of chemicals and the like. I had tried quiting it many long years ago and made up the protein in diary which caused a whole other set of problems so I went back on meat. There are many factors to be considered, but anyone who becomes aware of farming of meat animals and continues to support it, has a huge problem with spiritual growth.

Spiritual growth is more than meat. But the dense energies of meat eating surely slow the process for many.

Right, except for the ones Noah brought. and that was probably all they had to eat until the plants started growing again and they started farming.

I do!!! I spent much time eating right, vigoursly exercising, and staying away from TV! I also meditated twice a day with binaural beats in the background. Im a woman-so-I cook. At about 6 weeks into doing this-sometimes missing a day or a "meditation session" or two-I had a nice cornish hen waiting for me and my roomates that was defrosted. I had a nice bottle of Italian wine and couldnt wait to finish dinner...mostly for the wine! :) Anyhow-I pick up the cornish hen-and instantly drop it! I couldnt touch it! It was so gross! It was repulsive to think I would cook that decapitated animal and eat it! So-I think..maybe its a fluke. WRONG! I go to some steaks I have marinating in the fridge thinking I will just slap some on the grill..WRONG!!! I couldnt look at it or come close to touching it!!! I starved until the next day-I spiritually brought myself down enough (with methods im too embarassed to say) to eat the meat. Wow-wish I could go back in time now thinking back! I have a lot of making up to do!!!

Cornish hen looks gross anyway. looks like a dead cooked pigeon. IMO

Do people who abstain from meat have health problems like protein deficiency and other problems?

I tried going without meat and dairy for some time last year or two. It wasn't easy. I didn't feel healthy or energized or able to think so clearly. I know milk makes me feel junky, and I do stay away from swine and bottom feeders like shell fish and crustations, prawns and lobster. Unclean animals.

But I want to know how do vegans do it? I don't get my fill off tofu or hemp or vegetable protein supplements etc. What can you reccomend?
I like fish. I think meat is good because the fat is good for our brains.

Sometimes the ignorance on GLP is astounding. endorphins and antibiotic metabolites are totally broken down and destroyed when you cook your food.

If life is determined by action/interaction/reaction then your plants are alive as well. So it is allright to eat one lifeform but not another is what you are saying see even the ascenders do not know how to define life...just saying

My grandfather died at 94. His wife made it to 98. They ate more meat than anyone I've ever known. He told me that during the depression they couldn't afford meat very often. So when things turned around they ate all they could and never stopped. How many weak skinny vegans will make it to 98?

It's been proven beyond a doubt that humans made great leaps forwards in intelligence when they were able to domesticate animals and eat meat, eggs, and milk more often. This would explain why vegans aren't the sharpest bunch...

i heave read in certain literature that one absorbs the energies in the animal as well.

As Maslow pointed out, a characteristic of of a self actualized person is someone with a healthy appetite for food.

So, ergo, vis a vis, concordantly, anyone who is fastidious and obsessive of what they eat, are the opposite. Little miserable trolls whose only enjoyment in life is to spread their misery to others.

One could eat quinoa. It is a complete protein.
