The sheriff thanked Mr. Dkes for "taking care of our child". Don't laugh though. He knows what he's doing. The last thing they want to do is get this guy mad. Quoting: Dease I'm sure the Mom feels that way too. Though any of us would be upset by hm being gone and of course angry, there would also be gratitude that he wasn't harmed. Takes a strong man to care for a little boy, especially an autistic little boy. Even as a mother, can you imagine the stress of being in a 4 by 8 underground place with a crying child? I sometimes wonder if Mr. Dykes is reading here. If he does, I hope he stays strong to protect the little guy til he lets him go. Last Edited by Nine's - IN MEMORIAM on 02/03/2013 10:37 PM |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 1482838 United States 02/03/2013 10:38 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Have the parents ever come out to plea to this alleged person to return their son? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1482838 I don't think I've seen hide nor hair of them or even a name. As far as I know, they said they don't want to give out their names for Ethan's safety. Governor Bentley called his mother yesterday. Huh? How is their names being released or not material to "Ethan's" Safety. Ethan, if there really is such a kid, could have told the guy himself, (if there is such a guy), what his mommy and daddy's name is. This is another facet to the story that rings false. Are you the story minder here? I'm sorry if I offended you. Are you aware that Ethan has autism? Therefore, he may not be able to communicate his parent's names to the suspect. I'm not the story minder. I do, however, live about five minutes from the scene, and everyone (I mean EVERYONE in Midland City) either knows Ethan or the bus driver. Although I live in Dothan and didn't know Ethan, the people who did are people I know and trust. So you say. I say, this is complete disinfo. What cred do you have? Why would everybody in Midland City know a 5 year old with "autism"? I read it was Aspergers. You still seem like the story minder here. To make people on a large conspiracy website believe it. |

They can say it's for the children, get people outraged about guns. Scare them about all the veteran PTSD, so that they are disarmed first. Purge the top brass. Purge the SEALS. Embroil the rest of your special ops in dozens of tedious wars. . Making sure effective treatments for PTSD are not available, would be one way of advancing the agenda you perceive [link to veteransformedicalmarijuana.org] In light of all evidence currently available, it is striking that the FDA refuses to investigate cannabinoids for the treatment of anxiety disorders like PTSD yet they have approved studies of MDMA, the club drug Ecstasy, for the treatment of PTSD (Doblin, 2002). Even if you do not accept cannabis as the answer itself, it should be hard to accept that by and large we still have not found effective and reliable ways to utilize the eCB system in modern western medicine. After all, the most potent (meaning it takes the least amount to produce a threshold effect) substance know to humans is not LSD as many still assume but is instead a derivative of fentanyl, know as Carfentanil. The threshold dosages for LSD and Carfentanil are 20-30µg (micrograms) and 1µg, respectively (Wikipedia, 2 & 3). This makes Carfentanil 10,000 times more potent than morphine, 100 times more potent than fentanyl, and 20-30 times more potent than LSD. At least up until 2005 and unlike LSD, Carfentanil was(is?) regulated as a Schedule II substance in the US (Erowid). For those that do not know, this means that despite perceived extreme dangers from use or abuse of this drug it is still assumed to have medical value. With the lives and well being of so many veterans AND private citizens at stake, those in the scientific community and police makers alike cannot afford to miss the wake up call. Even a child should be able to see the hypocrisy evident in the relative policies concerning cannabinoids and opiates. It is time to fix this appalling imbalance in our policies concerning the pharmacopia or else be the laughing stock of future generations. |

He considered going into the military but I presauded him to get his degree and do something with that. For one, I was afraid I'd never see him again. Two, I don't support their military and their crazy kiling sprees. He's lucky to have you. My cousin was military, then went into LE. In Ala. of all places. LOL. He was head of the swat team over the state. Forget what it's called, and haven't talked to him in a while, and think he's in another position now, but I've worried about him so much. He's a great guy, kind, compassionate, and I can't figure why he made his choices, but I still love him. After the other poster got me thinking, I'm half tempted to call him. He knows I wouldn't say anything or ask anything to jeopardize anything but just to ask if he knew this was some fake thing. Hmmm. Thinking. Thanks. Your cousin sounds like a great guy...very successful. I believe the military is full of great guys. Unfortunately, they have no control over some of the things they're asked to do. If you talk to him, please share his thoughts on all this. It would be intersting to hear his opinion, with his background and all. LOL. I severely modified my post thinking he may not appreciate me announcing his occupation but guess he wouldn't mind. Not like it's a secret. Thanks, he's always been so busy. Always doing something. I know there are a lot of good guys in the military and LE, but it's just not something you want someone you love, doing. Especially when you know how kind and good hearted they are. It's the good ones that suffer. They want to save the kids, but they also understand where the hostage taker is coming from in a situation like this and want everything to end peacefully. That has to hurt. Best I don't call. I'd have to pull my computer out of the wall and go into a bunker myself to keep from telling if I found out any info. He probably wouldn't tell anything important right now anyway. |

This is another pic of me and my husband...hope you like it...and yes, that is sarcastic. Is your "husband" a cop or in the military? Now don't lie. No actually, he's in business management. He considered going into the military but I presauded him to get his degree and do something with that. For one, I was afraid I'd never see him again. Two, I don't support their military and their crazy kiling sprees. Well, that was a long pause. I don't believe you. Your powers of persuasion fall a bit flat. Tell us something about this incident that will make it believable. Try to be more "persuasive" this time. |

He probably wouldn't tell anything important right now anyway. It's been reported that Mr. Dykes is requesting for a reporter to go inot the bunker, and share his story with the public. It seems he feels he's been wronged in some way (not sure if through the military/govt, etc). "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you." - Matthew 22: 37-39 "What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul?
