Nevada can't afford to get rid of Harry Reid. He's a bastard, for sure! But that bastard is one of the most powerful politicians in D.C. and as long as he is in power, a relatively insignificant state like Nevada can be sure to have more swing than it truly deserves on Capital Hill when it comes to local issues. I was raised LDS, just like Reid and Romney. In fact, my grandpa and Reid played on the same church basketball team for years. I'm an Independent Conservative and I voted for Romney. I've NEVER voted for Reid, but I can CERTAINLY understand why Nevada hasn't removed him from D.C. and brought him back home to Searchlight...
