Can you give a brief definition? lol Sure. Here's a nice, safe, dry place to start: [link to en.wikipedia.org] Anarcho-capitalism (also referred to as voluntaryism, free market anarchism,[1] market anarchism,[2] private-property anarchism[3] and libertarian anarchy) is a libertarian political philosophy that advocates the elimination of the state in favor of individual sovereignty in a free market.[4][5] In an anarcho-capitalist society, law enforcement, courts, and all other security services would be provided by privately funded competitors rather than through taxation, and money would be privately and competitively provided in an open market. Therefore, personal and economic activities under anarcho-capitalism would be regulated by privately run law rather than through politics. Nice! |

That is possible. It all depends what happens when it all collapses. Will the citizens of the USA have more willpower, to fight the hunger, and lack of work, for FREEDOM? ...or will they give total power to a TOTALITARIAN FACIST government. It will be a choice made by all. Will they heed history?...or be doomed to repeat it? Last Edited by Useless Cookie Eater on 01/30/2013 01:54 PM |

Libertarians support smaller government and by supporting state and local govts, you are making a great step away from Federal and towards much smaller states that could potentially be more representative of the people than federal. |

Yes, the 10th amendment is very very important to Libertarians. |

THIS is what i feel too. i think we would be a much happier country if the states had more power and anything federal was filtered through the state (i know that is what the senate is supposed to be for). people in Maine arent interested in the same policies as the people in New Mexico. free the people from the fed and let them decide what they want on their own. |

It depends; do you want the local and state governments to grow and interfere in your personal lives? If so, yes you are in the wrong party. The defining aspect of a Libertarians support for law is based on whether or not there is a victim being protected by the law itself. No victim, no crime. well no but i think a localized group of voters can prevent such things from happening much easier than a nation. |

Goddamnit I am so tired of this backasswards world. Quoting: Mrbillybadass Some people NEED to be cringing drones, told what to do and how to do it, by an overarching government. The thought of freedom and personal responsibility, terrifies them. It's a bit like being a BDSM slave. Cringing drone ---> <--- Brutal government! |
