For real! I have different reasons for looking certain things up but of course one can interpret my searches any way they wish.

Is THAT why they respond so slowly? Maybe it is porn instead of mundane searches.

If I google all day long, How many policemen would they have to hire to check me? Now try 300 million citizens.

The solution is simple - don't be evil!

just use startpage it runs your ip through a dozen redirects so google has no way to figure out who searched for what. It uses the same google search but none of your searching will be connected to you in any database.

Believe me the cops are the last thing you need to worry about having your data, It's the private companies that are profiling every post everywhere and helping others make decision about you based upon said profiles.
