When I was really young, I believed, God made dirt and dirt won't hurt saying, pretty gross that when I dropped food I would still eat it based on this. |

That inside the chest were the ribs, just a wide open space with boney ribs jutting out and from these ribs, random strips of fat (from pork chops fx) would dangle forever.. |

I really believed that when you grew up all these things you felt and did as child (like that desperate need to peek at Christmas presents) would go away. Turns out they just did a good job of hiding it from kids. 'Magically Delicious' |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 5609223 another was making a wish when you drove by a hay truck and holding your breath when passing a hearse those are the ones I remember off the top of my head anyway! I still believe that!Hahahaha, it's not true? I believed as a child(7 years old) that if you died, you would still be locked up inside your head with no way of communicating or moving, that thought scared the crap outta me.. message: don't take kids to funerals! |

That I would find a man that saw things the same way I did and we would live happily ever after. Lol. Its my parents' fault really, they were married for 42 years; till death did they part. That is rare these days. "Fortune, honour, beauty, youth are but blossoms dying. Wanton pleasures, doting love are but shadows flying." ---Thomas Campion |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 26744885 Yes in the 70s I couldn't understand why people had given all these gorillas in Africa guns. I used to question it every day when the news came on Radio 4 during breakfast. Oh yeah, that whole gorilla fighting thing. I was vividly imagining big, wild jungle gorillas with guns fighting each other, and never understood what the war was about. I always seemed to know that it was happening far away, but worried that they would come closer and closer as time went by, and there was no stopping them. |

PC FREE User ID: 5359980 United States 02/02/2013 09:21 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | That all people, black and white were the same and that there was no underlying reasons for racism, just stupid people who were short sighted. Then at the age of 11 we moved to the inner city and from then on because i was white i had a big bulls-eye on my back.I was constantly put down, threatened and assaulted because i was white.Any time i ran into a group of blacks-almost any group of blacks, they descended on me with disdain in there eyes. I learned to fight just in order to survive and after awhile word got around that i wasn`t a easy target and things cooled down a little. But the experience left a bitter taste in my mouth and i realized that the picture painted on TV showing blacks as innocent victims of white racism was nothing but social manipulation and in fact racism by blacks against whites was far more prevalent in society. I keep thinking maybe that`s why the rich white liberals that control the media ignore the problem and give excuses and scapegoats for all the rampant violence by minorities, they`ve never had to deal with it because they`re locked away in there gated communities. objective viewer |

Used to also think about how boring adults were with their news and talk of the weather and stuff, and now I am one and it's me that's the boring one - too funny. |

She gave birth to this god man who performed miracles and then we crucified him because his dad, god, sent him to earth in order to be tortured and murdered so he could die for our sins. This, and the god-man had blonde hair, blue eyes and spoke English. |
