Do you think Russia has to fight for every single country in the Middle East or elsewhere that finds reasons for civil war, or for anti-American sentiments? Then Russia should start WW3 practically. Still he will not hit the above cities, to the dismay of American radical christian fundamentals to fulfill certain prophecies of "Gog and Magog", and to give reason for a US preemtive full scale nuclear attack. At the same time, the megaton danger is existing in the world. At certain point we reach to nuclear winter, or even to ignition of atmospheric N2 in nuclear reaction. I don't know what level is needed for that. The atmospheric tests the bigger of which was the Russian 57 mgt Tsar bomb (designed as 100 mgt but scaled down for unknown reasons), didn't do that yet. But apparently there is a threshold when those physical processes will be triggered if the insane humanity pushes beyond the natural barriers of physics and atmosphere. Both scenarios mean the demise of 2/3 of population if not more. The ignition of atmosphere will be rather violent event, while the nuclear winter will be a slow but certain death. Hope no sane person walks towards them. In long term bunkers won't help. In long term the earth becomes uninhabited the way we know it today. And that may happen if a certain number of megatons are exploded anywhere on the surface, even in the aggressor's own territory. Practically there is no chance for the world if Russia is preemptively attacked, even if successfully, because she has enough hidden stockpiles that can explode and send the entire surviving world in the stone age. A terrible scenario from the cold war that I personally hope will not come into effect as a last resort. Because there might be some in Russia who think they might escape in the bunkers while the world dies.

Well, is this a reasonable price for the above mentiond cities that are also Christian relics?
