But Wait, the Yale psychologists said the kids should not even be interviewed by police (I would assume that kind of interviewing would clarify things, let the children be able to get their experiences on record and most importantly, would create a sort of file that safety experts could research to improve safety protocol recommendations...)

But, did they consult the Yale psychologists concerning THIS? I mean, honestly...I doubt I'd EVER let my child perform at some big, commercial type event like the Superbowl, but ESPECIALLY after having been through through extreme trauma and losing friends, teachers, a principal, changing schools and having the traumatic experience of hiding from gunfire. I'd think the rule would be "return to normalcy" and trying to let kids' nerves heal...not placing them into an overly exciting situation that sort of exploits the tragedy they've been through. I can't imagine that this would have the okay from any reasonable child psychologist. What are they thinking? This makes NO sense at ALL.
