I personally find the Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai to be one of the wittiest movies ever as far as the jokes and dialogue...

Ghostbusters.

Blues Brothers.

Alien (more the delivery by the actors than the writing itself.)

I love real genius. The opening montage of weaponry was beautifully done. This particular scene cracks me up everytime. I love the door part, it's subtle and quick wit.

Tarintino scripts are often truly brilliant stories regardless of the film they later become. He is a top story teller when dialogue and character take centre stage.

Don't stone me but I really loved "Dead Poets Society."

I enjoyed Robocop. The commercial breaks during the news were pretty good. And I'll buy that for a dollar is by far one of the most memorable quotes ever...

by the same guy, In Bruges (2008)
[link to www.imdb.com]
In Bruges is a 2008 British black comedy-drama film written and directed by Martin McDonagh. The film stars Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson as two hitmen in hiding, with Ralph Fiennes as their gangster boss. The film takes place — and was filmed — within the Belgian city of Bruges.[4]

In Bruges was the opening night film of the 2008 Sundance Film Festival.[5] The film opened in limited release in the United States on February 8, 2008; premiered at the Jameson Dublin International Film Festival on February 15, 2008; later went on full release in Ireland on March 8, 2008; and opened April 18, 2008 in the United Kingdom.

Colin Farrell won a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy for the film, while Martin McDonagh won a BAFTA Award for Best Original Screenplay. The film has since gone on to achieve cult status.
