4am EST EXTREME WIND GUSTS! Shaking the house! Limbs down! Southwestern Connecticut!!!

Pretty strong winds here on long Island as well. Got my tree cut down some time ago so It wont break the shed this time hehe.

I'm in nyc. They gave been predicting this for us. 55MPH gusts right now. And 20+ mph winds all day today. Hang in there. I hope your power does not go out.

On the bright side only 2 more hours of rain.

Bad here in Maine as well just had a 45mph wind gust lights have been flickering on and off

It's also insanely warm 55 degrees

A night at the end of January, crazy!

Im on LI and gusts have been ~60 mph for the past hour and a half at least.

MY house has Been shaking, and sounded like debrise hitting the side.

58 degrees here on the shoreline.

Gusts up to 60mph says weather.com, but these gusts have been more powerful than that it seems!

Flooding advisory too.

This storm looks unlike any I have ever seen on doppler radar. Dark red, the most extreme storm, a thin band along the middle of this huge storm, running parallel to the coastline, but inland.

I'm on the midcoast and it is crazy! About 10 p.m. last night, I had to open the front door because it was too warm in the house. 2 days ago it was only in the single digits here...Got up this morning and the 4" of snowpack that had been in the yard is now gone. Probably replaced by shingles from my and my neighbor's roofs :/.

yeah mass here it's 62 degrees right now and it sounds like my windows are gonna blow out. it's definitely shaking my house a little, I keep hearing loud bangs outside too. sound like a tree fell once cause I felt it. also I can tell the pressure is low, can feel it in my ears. it always happens during these wind storms. not sure the cause but I think it's the same system that formed tornadoes.

If it's sunny in California at 2:21 a.m. pst, I'm thinking it's teotwawki...

Here in upper Fairfield County CT, the wind woke me up at 4am- sounded like a train going by the house! Wild - and very warm at 61 degrees!

a weather guy reported a 77 mph wind gust in Milton ma.

Trust me when I say this shit is just getting started...

It's 51 degrees right now, temps expected to drop 30 degrees during the course of the day.

Yep. 60 degrees now, calling for snow overnight tonight, so expected to drop 30 degrees in but 16 hours...

Yeah, I'm in Mass and its been blowing like crazy up here since about 3pm yesterday. I tossed and turned all night because it was so windy and noisy. Because of all the windy storms we've had up here since the summer, most of the trees are down that should be down and I've noticed all fall and early winter town maintenance teams have been taking down elderly trees that showed some health issues and stress along roads. I'm one of those people who gets barometric headaches so I've been a state of dizzy for the past 3 days between the earthquakes all over and the storm. We certainly are alive to experience some very interesting times here on Earth. God bless you that you stay safe.

My neighbors on both sides have steel roofs, so I know those shingles on the lawn are mine :(.

It's getting a little nippily outside!
