Quoting: Anonymous Coward 9042924 january 1st New York / Cuomo and his cronies banned all large capacity mags and AR15's.. quomo's "NY safe act" was signed into law jan 15th so this pre-dates it. theres so little info, but im assuming that his magazines were POST BAN. the clinton assault weapon ban never expired in NY. high cap mags are legal if they are PRE BAN meaning made before 1994.(until jan 15th 2014 then they are felony to have in NY) maybe this guy had 5 "p-mags" or some other plastic mags that werent even made before 1994 or something IDK. the burden is on the state to prove a magazine is post ban, most mags dont have any dates on them. if not, then this is a gross abuse of the law and a clear violation of civil rights.
