What am idiotic lame excuse. I worked evenings to put myself through college with no help from anyone. No grants, no loans and supporting 2 kids. Sure I lived at the proverty level and never complained or even thought to look for a handout even though I probably would have qualified. For years I drove or took the bus 88 miles one-way to go to college and then back again. The only things you lack are intention, will, ambition and the drive to follow-through.

We lived on ramen and veggies. Anyone with ambtion can make it. The bottom line is to never give up.

Growing up poor was an advantage. I learned if I wanted money I had to earn it and started working at age 10 doing anything to literally make a dime. I washed cars, pulled weeds, took care of people's homes and so on. I bought all my own clothes from the age of 14 on and as soon as I graduated was working for the telephone company doing night shifts while putting myself through college. I just don't understand the attitude of slackers.

Even picking up trash off the streets is better then being mind-controlled by what's on TV which we got rid of 8 years ago. And it was the black woman that helped raise me that I learned about work and love. Get off your duff and do something worthwhile with your life.
