Yes. It is really interesting though, that regardless of size, these things are whizzing by close enough to disrupt our civilization. We have no defenses against a cosmic "hailstorm".

The thing is 3-D space is really big, bigger than us tards on the ground usually figure on. It either hits the satellite or it doesn't, and even a near miss does not count, a little above or below target.

In fact even if it does happen, I would look for a conspiracy behind that.

If it comes in oblique.. much more possibility of contact.

According to JPL.. the trajectory plot could change as it nears and more info is available.
They've already acknowledged that earth's gravity will affect it's future approach if it misses this time.

I don't think they would admit that it was going to hit.. even if they knew for sure... which they don't.

Only needs one or two satellites to be blown to pieces and space billiards will finish off the rest. It's enough of a mess up there already with all the space junk. Will be a thousand years before we can use a satellite again or launch anything into space whilst we build and deploy space robot vacuum devices.

...While the game of ‘Asteroids’ seems like fun and games it’s merely a publicity stunt for the serious political dealings going on beneath the high scores. Anonymous apparently has encrypted government files. The nature of the files are unknown but they are threatening to de-encrypt the files publicly if the U.S. government fails to reform aspects of the legal system which have led to inappropriate prosecutions.
