So I'm thinking the shooter most likely headed down 175 towards Cedar Creek and Gun Barrel City. They would not have taken 175 towards Dallas because law enforcement from the DFW area would have been heading into Kaufman that way. Anyone living in that area might want to keep their eyes open. Oh yea, make sure you are locked and loaded, these guys are armed and dangerous.

The sheriff said in his press conference that an eye witness reported Hasse was confronted by a man who then shot him.

It almost sounds like Hasse knew his killer. If he knew his life was in danger and was packing, wouldn't you think he'd have his hand on the trigger when being approached by a stranger?

Let's not paint with a fire hose boys. You must not paint all DAs and ADAs as enemies of the people and the Constitution. The Law and the courts are considered lawful UNLESS a law being floated infringes on a persons Constitutional rights.

If the Constitution itself is under attack, every American has the duty, right and legal high ground to defend it. Of course, consequences are a part of liberty, because tyranny never quits, stops or loses unless the enough weight is brought to bear against it!



The Greater States Militia Tribunal branch has the duty to re-examine any law that is considered unconstitutional and see that it is not enforced.

Debbie Denmon, a spokeswoman for DA Craig Watkins, said a “confidential source” informed the DA’s office office that an arrest had been made in the case.

But Denmon said Kaufman County officials subsequently would not confirm that an arrest was made.

“We’re going to respect their wishes” on that, she said.

Possible, but they could have disappeared in any direction. There are a number of ways to get out of town quickly from that parking lot and disappear into the countryside via a maze of county roads leading every which way. I am in GBC and there was a false alarm sighting here around 11am at the local Walmart parking lot.

It has nothing to do with justice, nothing to do with the constitution, nothing to do with freedom, or the laws of God.

It has everything to do with legal presidence (misspelled), which basically means once they fuck you over once, they can fuck everyone over for the rest of their lives. Kill one baby, great, but now they can kill millions!

I would be for a judicial system that worked, that protected people from government seizing property, or from needless and pointless lawsuits, or perhaps if they equally prosecuted the drug companies for killing people the way they do drug cartels. Perhaps if they weren't growing the drugs in Afghanistan, and handing out guns to the drug cartels down in Mexico, all the while laundering their money through the drug cartels like HSBC (Too BIg to Jail).

Look, I would be for freedom, locking up the bad guys, and keep society safe, but that's not what it's about anymore, it's about handouts, and bailouts, and looking the other way. It's about an illegal president passing illegal unconstitutional laws, and creating a police state full of spied upon people with no freedom at all left!

This guy who got shot today, may be a great guy, perhaps he had a family, perhaps he actually fought against corruption, so I don't mean any disrespect to the loss of his life, but if he was that type of guy, I'm sure he was equally frustrated, and equally upset with what has happened to our nation, and the complete joke we now call "LAW".

Update at 5:04 p.m. from Ray Leszcynski: Kaufman Police Chief Chris Aulbaugh, County Sheriff David Byrnes and District Attorney Mike McLelland took a break from their own press conference to look in to media reports that an arrest had been made in Dallas.

“There has not been an arrest made yet on this offense,” Aulbaugh said upon reconvening. “Our D.A. has been on a phone call to the Dallas DA’s office.”

McClellan said that apparently Dallas County District Attorney Craig Watkins was doing an interview and inadvertently referenced that there had been an arrest made in the shooting of Mark Hasse.

“He made a mistake during that interview,” McLellan said.

The Kaufman County DA’s office will remain closed Friday, according to County Judge Bruce Bell. But other county offices will reopen, including the courthouse and other downtown properties and the county library that was closed Thursday on the outskirts of town.

“The plans are to open so that we’re back to operating as normal as soon as possible,” Byrnes said.

For the foreseeable future, however, uniformed personnel will work the parking lot a block east of the courthouse during times when employees are typically coming to or leaving from work.

How many of you realize in Texas a prosecutor is completely immune from lawsuits or any legal action arising from wrongdoing during criminal prosecutions? It's called absolute immunity. If a prosecutor in Texas finds exculpultory evidence that proves a person he is prosecuting is innocent , he is not by Texas law required to reveal it and the defendant has no legal remedy under Texas law.

Federal courts do not have jurisdiction that supersedes Texas circuit courts decisions, only the Supreme court does. What this means essentially is in Texas they can take down anyone they want any time they want.

The shooter was most likely getting revenge, it would seem to b the clear motive.

Guess the government enforcer tried to railroad the wrong guy this time.

There will be more of this as people get fed up with 30 year sentences in prison for rather mundane offenses against the "state... not even an actual victim.

The only thing I can say about that is..It's not a good idea to get into trouble in the state of Texas.

It's pretty simple, keep your nose clean, don't break the law and you won't have anything to worry about.

If someone tends to get into trouble they might want to move to a state with more liberal laws and no death penalty. Just sayin..
