Neim-Ya'shar (OP) User ID: 33341397 United States 01/31/2013 12:18 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | You all trust in lies.I trust in the Lord 1 Samuel 6:19 But God struck down some of the men of Beth Shemesh, putting seventy of them to death because they had looked into the ark of the Lord. The people mourned because of the heavy blow the Lord had dealt them. 2 Samuel 6:2-7 (also 1 Chr 13:7-10) He and all his men set out from Baalah of Judah to bring up from there the ark of God, which is called by the Name, the name of the Lord Almighty, who is enthroned between the cherubim that are on the ark. They set the ark of God on a new cart and brought it from the house of Abinadab, which was on the hill. Uzzah and Ahio, sons of Abinadab, were guiding the new cart with the ark of God on it, and Ahio was walking in front of it. David and the whole house of Israel were celebrating with all their might before the Lord , with songs and with harps, lyres, tambourines, sistrums and cymbals. When they came to the threshing floor of Nacon, Uzzah reached out and took hold of the ark of God, because the oxen stumbled. The Lord's anger burned against Uzzah because of his irreverent act; therefore God struck him down and he died there beside the ark of God. The Ark of the Covenant was an embodiment of God's presence with the Israelites. The atonement cover (or "mercy seat") that covered the ark was God's throne (2 Sam 6:2) and God's presence was above it (Lev 16:2); it was also the place where God met Moses and gave him commands (Ex 25:22). If someone approached the ark, they would effectively be in God's presence - a sinner standing before a holy God who does not tolerate evil (Ps 5:4-6) - and would die as a result of their sins. For this reason, God had given the Israelites many rules concerning the Ark of the Covenant. It was to be kept in the Most Holy Place in the temple, hidden from view by a curtain (Ex 26:33). Only the high priest could enter the Most Holy Place, and then only after he had undergone ceremonial cleansing, made sacrifices to atone for his sins and the nation's sins, and burned incense to conceal the atonement cover (Lev 16). When the ark was moved, it was covered with at least 3 layers of cloth by the priests to protect others from seeing it (Num 4:5-6, 15, 18-20); the priests/Levites carried it and everyone else had to stay about a thousand yards away (Josh 3:4). These laws enforced the concept of God's holiness: sinful people couldn't be in his presence, not even the high priest. Hence, when Uzzah touched the ark, he was profaning it and disobeying God; he should have grabbed the poles used for carrying the ark instead, for that was their purpose (Ex 25:14-15). And as Glenn Miller points out in his response, the ark shouldn't have been on a cart anyway, but should have been carried on people's shoulders (1 Chr 15:15). My book of Baruch only goes up to Chapter 5. What is your source for an expanded Book of Baruch? 2. I know geologists can, more often than not, figure out if a region has had earthquakes (and other earth movements), even if it was hundreds and thousands of years in the past (such as with the Cascadias - NW Pacific region). So, I wonder if anyone has tried to figure out if any of the region surrounding the city of Jerusalem had any significant earth movement in and around the time this took place? Or maybe they have and we just don't know about it. :hide: |

Wings were described but the cherubim, if we are going to believe Ezekiel's description (chapter 1) was something very different, not so different from sphinxes in Egypt and Sumeria. I will show you an image of what I think the cherubim was if we believe the visions of the prophet Ezekiel which are similar to the ones seen by John from Apocalypse. Cherubim were also part of the curtains of the temple and with interesting details. The cherub did have 4 faces IN A SINGLE HEAD rather than 4 headed-monster. One was a calf, the other was something like a man, the other was an eagle and the other was a lion. However Ezekiel 41:18 and 19 provides a detail about the two-faced cherubim (in this case it was 2-faced because it was painted and FLAT or 2 dimensional so the design had to be done in profile, as I will show you it's very hard to paint a creature with 4 faces on a flat canvas because one face is missing, the one behind, so Hare Krishna's books or Egyptians had to paint their humanimal Transformer gods in profile or heads above the main head). The detail is it was a YOUNG LION (in Hebrew this is "kefir" different from an adult lion). What do lion cubs lack? The mane! And they do have their spots more visible, they resemble leopards , jaguars and some young cougars which were also worshipped by other cultures. Chinese worshipped Persian lions which they did in statues in their temples besides the white tiger. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 33394800 As you could see in the images, the artist had to paint them as seen from "above" and using an odd angle in order to represent at least part of the 4 faces of the animals in a single head. Other way to do it is using a transparent canvas and paint two from one side and two from the opposite side and then watch the whole thing against light to see overlapping the images together. Or use Dadaism painting technique which is enhancing the outline and do some colors inside and mingle them to look like ghost images. That's interdimensional realm...the real invisible matrix you can see only with hallucinogenic stuff, meditation, altered state of consciousness like the visionaries. In Apocalypse 4 we see the same creatures but this time not with 4 wings of the cherubim but the 6 wings of the seraphim, not with 4 faces but only one out of 4 faces. In other words, it was a HYBRID CREATURE combo of seraphim and cherubim and since they don't belong to one of them they are called "living creatures".... with a detail: They have EYES on their bodies and all over the wings. If you knew about the flies bombed with gamma rays you will know they grew eyes on feet and wings but the mutation was lkke that because the real invisible matrix is weird to our flesh and blood eyes. |

If you knew about the flies bombed with gamma rays you will know they grew eyes on feet and wings but the mutation was lkke that because the real invisible matrix is weird to our flesh and blood eyes. yep check out from Wyatts website the artist interpretation as Mr WYATT described NOW CHECK OUT WHAT EZEKIEL DESCRIBED ARTIST REPRESENTATION AS THE BIBLE DEPICTED 1 But these took this counsel among themselves, that they would leave the multitude of the heathen, and go forth into a further country, where never mankind dwelt, 42 That they might there keep their statutes, which they never kept in their own land. 43 And they entered into Euphrates by the narrow places of the river. 44 For the most High then shewed signs for them, and held still the flood, till they were passed over. 45 For through that country there was a great way to go, namely, of a year and a half: and the same region is called Arsareth. 46 Then dwelt they there until the latter time; and now when they shall begin to come, |
