Just a few days or so ago - definitely well within the last week - I looked at a thread that was showing a spike in cosmic rays, just like this one. Thing is, this graph isn't showing the dramatic spike that happened the other day, along with the one today. Do they have different monitoring stations that monitor different levels or spectrum of cosmic rays? The graph web page says it "corresponds to 10-20 GeV primary cosmic rays"...so maybe what I saw the other day was a different monitor. Huhn. It certainly looks like the same graph, though. You never change things by fighting the existing reality.
