They don't have a launch a nuke. They simply start steaming rolling tanks into South Korea. By the time the USA decides to react, it's too late.

Do the math...

NK has twice the number of tanks. Look how they could command the sky for crying out loud! NK has 7x the naval strength of SK.

" SEOUL, South Korea — The North Korean military, the world’s fourth-largest, has bolstered its special-forces units during the past two years and has deployed a new battle tank, called the Storm, while expanding its tank brigades, the South Korean Defense Ministry said on Thursday in its biennial white paper.

The report said the North’s overall troop strength had remained the same since 2008, when the active-duty force was estimated at 1.1 million. With a population of 24 million, North Korea has by far the world’s largest military in per capita terms. In actual numbers of troops, only China, the United States and India are larger. "

NK economy is in a shambles. Their people are starving. They have no way to dig themselves out, yet they have a massive military. Why not use it? It's only a matter of time before they try. They have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Here is an idea, maybe NWO doesn't include the West or NATO, or anything or anyone free. Weird things happening at once. Wanted to throw that out there without starting a new thread.

Edit, I should clarify ONE WORLD GOVT, maybe not THE NWO, but A NWO. EMP us and Nato and Israel... Sorry, I know I will get shit for posting that, but think, seems like that is maybe where they are going with this, Russia, Iran, NK, China

Jong-un issues a martial law order
한·미 양국 '초비상'… 北, 결국 사고 칠 듯 Jan 31,2013

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un issued a secret order to “complete preparations for a nuclear weapons test between Tuesday and yesterday” and carry it out sometime soon, a source told the JoongAng Ilbo.

Kim also reportedly said, “The country will be under martial law starting from midnight Jan. 29 and all the frontline and central units should be ready for a war,” the source said.

The North’s state media reported Sunday that Kim convened an emergency meeting with top defense and security officials on Saturday. It said Kim made a stern command to take “effective, high-profile state measures” and “assigned specific tasks” to officials. The measures were sparked by new sanctions unanimously passed by the United Nations Security Council on North Korean entities and individuals, including travel bans and asset freezes, the media said. The reports boosted speculation that Kim is preparing a third nuclear weapons test.

North Korea disguises tunnel used for nuclear test. What are they up to? They're claiming it's a scientific mission.

" The Punggye-ri site, which has three tunnel entrances and multiple support buildings, has been closely monitored by US, South Korean and Japanese intelligence since North Korea ramped up its test threats just over a week ago.

"Analysis showed a camouflage net looking like a roof was placed on the tunnel entrance," Yonhap News Agency cited a senior South Korean government source as saying. "

"JINHAE, Feb. 1 (Yonhap) -- A U.S. nuclear-powered submarine arrived in the southeastern port city of Jinhae for joint naval drills with South Korea, military officials said Friday, in a move seen as a warning to North Korea ahead of what may be an imminent nuclear test.

USS San Francisco (SSN-711), a 6,800-ton Los Angeles-class submarine, has been anchored at a naval base in Jinhae, 410 kilometers southeast of Seoul, since Thursday to prepare for joint drills slated for next week, the Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) said.

A 9,800-ton cruiser equipped with missiles and torpedoes as well as naval combat helicopters also arrived in the southern port city of Busan, on the same day, it said. "

Japan is chiming in on North Korean. Remember that China has already warned them that they will potentially cut off aid to NK.

[link to www.rttnews.com]
" The United States, Japan and South Korea have warned that if North Korea carries out "any further provocations, including a nuclear test, that country will bear responsibility for the consequences it will face for disregarding the overwhelming views of the international community."

The warning was given in a joint statement issued by the three countries after their officials met in Tokyo for the two-day annual Defense Trilateral Talks. The plenary session included discussion on a wide variety of issues including humanitarian assistance and disaster relief, non-proliferation, the regional security situation and North Korea. North Korea's nuclear weapons and ballistic missile programs constitute a serious threat to international peace and security and undermine the peace and stability of the Korean Peninsula and the North East Asia Region, says the statement released by the Pentagon."

"SEOUL, South Korea – North Korea is threatening to retaliate for what it calls U.S. double standards over recent rocket launches by Pyongyang and U.S. ally Seoul.

A North Korean Foreign Ministry spokesman did not elaborate on what that might entail in his comments Saturday to the official Korean Central News Agency. But Pyongyang has recently threatened to conduct its third nuclear test in response to what it calls U.S. hostility.

Washington says Seoul’s rocket launch Wednesday had no military intent while Pyongyang’s in December was a test of banned ballistic missile technology.

The U.N. Security Council has imposed new sanctions on Pyongyang for its launch. Pyongyang says it should be allowed to launch satellites for peaceful purposes.

Both Koreas say their satellites are working properly. U.S. experts say Pyongyang’s satellite is apparently malfunctioning."

" US Navy Chief Warns Pyongyang Over Nuclear Threats
Saturday, 2 February 2013

PHNOM PENH — The Chief of the U.S. Pacific Command, Admiral Samuel Locklear, has warned North Korea that any further nuclear tests would only increase the country’s isolation while posing a threat to the regional security environment.

Speaking from Hawaii via a link-up with journalists and academics from around the region, Admiral Locklear says recent statements out of North Korea suggest the country is leaning towards another nuclear test and this would be a significant violation of UN Security Council resolutions.

North Korea's Unha-3 rocket lifts off from the Sohae launching station in Tongchang-ri, Dec. 12, 2012.
“[Pyongyang’s] continued focus on its nuclear program and missile program is really not doing anything to help the North Korean people, which I understand need help,” he said.

Some officials in Seoul and Washington say a North Korean nuclear test may be imminent, prompting South Korea to issue its sternest warning yet to Pyongyang saying it risks “very grave consequences” if it proceeds."

This is the first article to detail the technical improvement in NK's arsenal status:
[link to www.vancouversun.com]
" Uranium nuclear test would be a reason to worry for the West
By Foster Klug, The Associated Press February 2, 2013 2:06 AM\
As North Korea warns that it plans its third nuclear test since 2006, outside governments and analysts are trying to determine a crucial question: Just what will Pyongyang's scientists explode?

The last two tests are believed to have been of plutonium devices, but the next logical step for Pyongyang's ambitious nuclear program could be to conduct a highly enriched uranium explosion. That would be a major accomplishment for North Korea - and a worrying development.
...
"While a plutonium bomb requires the assembly of a complicated weapons system to deal with pre-detonation issues, a HEU bomb is relatively easy to construct," Harvard physicist Hui Zhang wrote in the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists.

Scientist and nuclear expert Siegfried Hecker said plutonium is considered better for building small warheads, which North Korea is believed to be attempting to develop so it can threaten the U.S. with long-range nuclear-tipped missiles.

"Switching to HEU at this point actually increases the technical challenge" for North Korean scientists to build miniaturized nuclear warheads, James Acton, a physicist at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, said in an email. It's not clear whether North Korea has made bomb-grade uranium. But Pyongyang confirmed long-held worries that it was enriching uranium in late 2010, when it showed foreign experts a facility at its well-known Yongbyon nuclear reactor site. Analysts strongly suspect Pyongyang has other uranium enrichment facilities, and it is feared that hidden plants could be producing large amounts of weapons-grade uranium."

The reason North Korea can afford to pay for a nuclear program is Opium. Technically their factories are in a state of disuse and their population is starving. The only reason they're managing is international food aid plus opium sales.

[link to www.rfa.org]
"Opium Poppy Cultivation Thriving
2011-06-21

North Korea may be suffering from farm crop failures but poppy fields are booming.

Opium poppy farming in North Korea seems to be flourishing even as the nuclear-armed state begs for food aid amid reports of crop failures.

The reclusive, government-run poppy farms pay their workers handsomely, in some cases salaries that are more than double earned by average workers in the hardline communist state, according to sources inside North Korea.

College students are also mobilized to help in drug cultivation during their spring break, the sources said, speaking on condition of anonymity.

News of the booming drug cultivation came as impoverished North Korea requests for food aid from the international community after an exceptionally harsh winter reportedly hit crop yields.

Some U.S. and South Korean officials, however, voiced concern that the North Korean regime may be exaggerating its needs."

"In South Korea, the presidential office predicted that the broadcast suggested an imminent nuclear test by North Korea and declared an emergency readiness posture. President Lee Myung-bak visited a war room in an underground bunker of his office, ordering his administration to “check the situation (on the nuclear test) and well maintain a readiness posture,” according to his spokesman Park Jeong-ha.

The chief executive was briefed by Chun Young-woo, presidential secretary for foreign affairs and national security, and Ahn Kwang-chan, head of the Office of National Crisis Management, on signs of the North’s test and potential provocations. A presidential office source said, “The North has completed technical preparations for a nuclear test and is waiting for Kim Jong Un to make a political decision,” adding, “This week will likely be a watershed.”

Here's some information on the South Korea compliment to the US forces in the joint naval "drill" being conducted at present.
[link to www.china.org.cn]

"The joint maneuver by the allies, taking place in waters off the East Coast of the Korean peninsula, involves the USS San Francisco, a nuclear submarine, and the Aegis guided-missile cruiser Shiloh.

Ten South Korean warships are also mobilized, including the 7600-ton Aegis destroyer King Sejong the Great, a corvette and anti-submarine and maritime surveillance aircrafts and maritime helicopters, according to Yonhap News Agency.

[link to www.arirang.co.kr]
"The threat follows a security ministers' meeting in South Korea last Thursday which warned that it would slap tough sanctions on the North if it moves forward with another nuclear test."
