Can anyone please help me? I have been following this situation from the very beginning with the first DAWG thread and frankly, the whole thing scares me to death.

However, I have found out that my nephew who is in the service has been assigned there and has been there a few months. Now here is the issue, his mom (my sister) and I do not talk. I have tried to get in touch with her and she will not answer me back. I wanted to tell her how serious the situation is and to do everything possible to get her son out of there.

Has he been assigned to the Assumption Parish area, or just the same state? For how long?

I don't know ANY of the details. I spoke with her briefly in OCT and she told me he was there. I almost dropped the phone.

And also, I am sure that the military will assure my sister that nothing is going on.

What the hell should I do?

If he is in the military, he has no choice about where he is station. If he is near Assumption Parrish, he probably has a better idea of what is going on than we do.

The best thing you can do for him is Pray. I'm not saying that to scare you. You just might be surprised what the Lord can do.

For years assuming this geological sites " Salt Caverns " were safe they without thinking longer term and under the premiss of nothing ever happens they have been using the Salt Caverns to store A to Z. Everything and anything yes including all this toxic and Nuclear waste. Oil Reserves.

Then along comes Mother Nature and changes the Game. They scramble and start to move what they can out of there. I would imagine shit will be laft behind for what ever reason and some at this point can't be moved because humans with there too big stupid brains never made contingencies for the what if senario.

Now Mother Nature is destablizing the area and it is not just the sinkhole but the whole coast continung along all salt domes. Erosion and infiltration by sea water and the breakup of the techtonic plates and ruptures in the sea beds. Melting Methane off the sea floors etc. Its alot of different things at work. That being said the whole area for hundreds of miles is a ticking time bomb.

The build up of gases is the point they have to deal with RIGHT NOW because if left will blow the area sky high.

Hence the 16 new relief wells to burn of all gases. Methane. H2S. Butane stored thats getting all mixed in together as things collaspe.

Why can't everybody just understand that even if they do burn off all the excapeing gas that the area is still eventually going down for the count.

Mother Nature is going to take this planet for a ride soon and not just this area.

Take a hard look around at all the Earth Changes. Everywhere.

Its upon us and they are just running around down there doing damage control.

Just get the hell out if you are in harms way.

Although not definitive, it seems the working theory is this: Texas Brine milled out a section around 2350 ft. right on a major fault section closest to the casing, not considering they had very little salt to work with there. The salt is either washed away and damaging the shale formations close to the fault line, or overpumped freshwater in the millout to have accomplished the same thing.
