Nothing "Breaking", but a vey weird lucid dream experience
Ill preface by saying that although I've only posted, i think once on GLP, I have been an avid long time stalker of the site. Between the open-mindedness of a lot of people and just the damn level of comradery (spelling?) and the intelligence of others it’s a wonderful place. GLP: My #1 news source.
Anyways, I figured after reading a random thread on someone’s messed up dreams, I wanted to share one of mine that I had about about ~2 months ago. I told my fiancé and some friends about it, and they either laughed or looked at me wide-eyed, followed by a verbal barrage of “holy shit” or “maybe it WASN’T a dream”. Wow, such insight, friend. I’m about 100% confident there are mental templates of responses that people toss out when weird dreams are shared, lol. But I wanted to share it with you guys n gals in the GLP community to get some kind of feedback.
As a side note, no, I didn’t eat anything weird, I rarely drink, never done illicit drugs, don’t watch TV (except stand up comedy) and to my best memory, nothing was out of the ordinary that week/day. *Also, ill edit my dream by writing *Cut*, which will indicate my dream just jumped to a new scene instantly. I never woke during this dream)

-I’m in a building that I don’t recognize with people I don’t know. I’m with a girl who I feel close to, like I know her, but I don’t know who the hell she is.
*Cut*
-I’m now outside, facing a ~6 story building. I assume this was the building I was just in. The girl is to my right in the street, standing with me. I feel like i'm on high alert, like there is commotion of some kind. I think i'm in a big city. I look right. I see cars parked up and down the road, other tall buildings (your standard “big city” look). The sky is a overcast, but there is a complete hue of red tint to it. This worries me. I turn to the building again, and look straight up. Suddenly, there are stars, even though its completely overcast. I see what looks like a constellation of start. I keep staring, only to realize that the constellation (I cant remember a shape, just a random “outline” of stars) seems to get bigger. And bigger. And bigger. I then realize it, or we, are getting closer to one another. I feel an increase in my heartbeat and adrenaline fires through my body. This makes my legs ache. I am overcome by fear.
Just when the outline shape of starts get so close, so big that I cant even tell its an outline anymore, a…I’ll say craft appears. A ship, a thing in the sky appears, filling the outline of stars with a mass I cant even comprehend. Its god know how close to the ground, and its covering the entire sky as far as I can see. Fear.
People are frantic. Panic sets in, and I grab the woman i'm with by her hand and run. These perfectly spherical orbs come from this craft and cascade from the sky. Within seconds, the woman I’m with it suddenly ripped from my grip and I’m suddenly inside one of these things. I felt panic, and fear. The inside of this “orb” was just big enough for 1 person. I could see out of the front of the orb as it moved at ground level. We were going so fast, the buildings and cars were literally a blur, (the only way I can describe it, it was like in F Zero or Need for Speed when you hit a turbo boost). My fear and panic were IMMEDIATELY doused when I had a realization. Going this fast, turning here, turning there….we hit nobody. We harmed no one. This thing I was in, anytime a person was in its way, it stopped or turned a different direction. Once I noticed this, a wave of peace and damn near happiness flooded my mind. Like I was safe. I felt safe, secure, and happy.
*Cut*
-I’m in, what I can only assume, was the BIG craft now. I’m facing a huge wall of glass, and space is staring back at me. I can literally see nebula of brilliant colors and endless stars. Its beautiful. I turn right, and a guy is leaning against a wall, one foot on the wall, looking down, and has a hat. I ignore him and walk towards the glass. More beauty. Purples, reds like i've never seen. We are approaching asteroids. As we get closer, I see them for what they are. It is a perfect circle of asteroids, slowly rotating on its x-axis, but very slowly. As we approach, my curiosity grows. Are we….are we going through the circle? We do. The ship goes though this circle of rock, like an eye of a needle.
*Cut*
I’m standing in a street. The sky blew me away. I see earth in the sky (like we see the moon now). There are trees, houses, and people. I cannot take my focus off of the view of earth. Its right there. Am I on the moon? Where am i? how am I seeing this? The earth has something going on with it. I notice to the left of the earth, some sort of blue, spherical pulse is flashes, encompassing the earth, then fading away. I watch this blue pulse do this several times, not knowing why or what it is. But I feel overcome with a sense of security, and again, a “everything’s OK” emotion. I look right to more “sky”. I see, what I can only describe as, slow slow moving comets(?) complete with fiery tails and everything. They don’t seem too far away, but there are many, and its gorgeous. This was also just beautiful, and I almost cry in the power of it.
*Cut*
-I’m walking around a house, that has a garage. I peer into it, and see men playing cards. I invite myself in (I don’t know why) and began playing cards with them. The man whose face I can actually make out is an older man. Wrinkles, grey hair, beard. I don’t know him, but it’s the first time I recognized a face in a dream, WITHOUT knowing who they are. I am distracted from our eye contact by a rail to my left, against the wall. It spans the entire length of the wall. Right next to me, it’s a tube sticking out of the rail. I grab it, and see it was being help there by a small hole in the rail. The tip of the tube has pink stuff running out of it. I hear “be careful”, and right after that, some of this substance lands on my hand. Immediately, it’s the most excruciating pain i've ever felt. Literally. My arm is shaking it hurts so bad. I’m crying. Pain.

-----This was my dream. I woke right after this, and I remembered EVERYTHING. The emotions, the pain. The scenery. Everything. I still cant believe I felt such a HUGE swing of real emotion. And the pain. The pain was the first thing I remembered when I woke up.. This has never happened before in my life, but it was like I actually experienced this, like I was there. So, I just wanted to share it with this community in hopes someone could give me some interpretations or opinion. Also, im not a writer, not do I care to be one, so I don’t wanna hear “nice book” or “lol grammar”. I could really care less. This was a holyshit moment and I don’t think ill ever forget it.

That is a very interesting dream, the first part of your dream is familiar to me I have had one similar, running around with a guy I did not know then we separate and flash I am in another scene where I am trapped in a force field trying to break free.

I cannot offer any insight right now as it is almost one in the morning and it is to tiring to think in depth right now, but if I come up with anything I will let you know. peace

Interesting...I have had a number of dreams with this other female that I feel connected to in some way yet cannot ever recognize her. I posted a couple of those dreams in the thread you'll find in my signature. Someone gave their interpretation on that thread that may apply in your case as well. Check it out. Interpretations start on page 3.

Awesome. Thank you both for replying. It's been on my mind since it happened. Weird thing is, I see it just as clear now as I did when I woke up from it. I almost never remember my dreams. I wish I knew why it was so real so I could try to have another one. Looking forward to hearing back from you!

Maybe it was flashes from the future? I am not really sure, I would look at all the symbols that stand out the most in the dream but even ones that seem to have no significance like a building still may have significance. Look them up on the internet, it is a good place to start. However like my dreams of being able to manifest or control different elemental energies in my dreams I cannot find any meaning to those what so ever, I guess they are not experienced very often, so I am left to figure it out on my own lol.

You're welcome. I know what you mean. Same thing goes for me. I hardly ever remember dreams, and if I do not as clearly as these kind.

I had another vivid dream recently. It was rather strange. It starts with me being blindfolded or having some type of bag over my head. I am on my knees and I can feel someone on my left and right holding my arms near the shoulders. I can feel the heat of the sun and I am sweating, it must be summer. I can hear a large crowd murmuring in front of me. There are many footsteps all around me and people talking quietly. I cannot understand what they are saying. All the sudden the bag over my head is removed, I squint at the sudden burst of light. After a few moments I regain my vision.

I am on a stage, I have people restraining me by my shoulders and the crowd has gone silent. All eyes are on me now. I am asked, by someone behind me, if I have anything to say. I respond, "Do it!" Then I remember smiling at the crowd and a sudden feeling of calmness, then the cold barrel of a gun placed on my right temple. All goes silent, I see nothing, feel nothing...That's when I wake up.

What makes this even weirder is that I had a throbbing pain in my right temple for the rest of the day. I had this dream in early December. I cannot remember the exact date. It was before Christmas and after Thanksgiving.

This sounds like maybe a past life, I have heard of people who have said that they dream of a past life or experience how they died and then when they wake up or snap out of it they get a throbbing pain where they were shot, or stabbed, or hung, or however else they may have died in a past life.
Personally I do not know if I have dreamed of past lives before, I am sure I have but they seem so unreal almost out of a fantasy novel, magic and symbols and the whole nine yards, then I think they are just my imagination or lucid dreaming and I am sure some of it is lucid dreaming, but while it feels so unreal it feel real when I wake up, like remember doing it not in a dream state. Does that make any sense? lol

Re: Nothing "Breaking", but a vey weird lucid dream experience
i actually DID try to look some of it up. One anomaly. This is frickin weird. Ok, so i saw this night-visioned, Australia footage of orb like "things" moving through the sky here on GLP. That practically how i saw the "outline" in my dream. But my dream was months ago, and i JUST stumble upon this video. Ill try to dig it up if i can. But i got chills and a boarderline panic attack because the movement of the sky (?) was SO similar to my dream.
Other that that, ive got nothin in terms of understanding.
I just want to have another experience like that. It was profound.

Just out of curiosity, what did the girl look like?

I had my first one last night, I was listening to Jody Whitley's video:

And at some point when I was falling asleep, I started to see a purplish/pink glow on my bedroom ceiling, it was shimmering and getting brighter. I freaked out and woke up.
I need to learn to control it but it was extremely exciting because I know it felt like nothing I've ever dreamt before.

Re: Nothing "Breaking", but a vey weird lucid dream experience
check out www.bayside.org for the info on first page re the christmas comet. It may cover the whole sky. there is a description from middle ages of the last visit of this comet.
Back in 1949 I had a waking vision of orbs of fire falling from the evening sky in the north, mostly across the river in Canada. We lived in an isolated rural area so no light pollution. Yet in the darkened sky I saw an even deeper darkness and as it went over head, only fourty feet up I was looking at the underside of a huge ufo, flatish and oval shaped.
In our culture there are dreams, nightmares(these two based usually on conscious experiences and unconscious fear or anxiety). THen there are dreams you plan and control. And lucid dreams, usually mixed with prophetic dreams; and then visions, like a snapshot but in a split second pouring a thousand pages of info in your mind. Finally, full blown visions. I had one of these at age three. No tv and too poor for kids books, living in town then, I had never seen a chicken and wouldnt eat meat, so they werent on my radar. The vision was so vivid, even when my dad came into the room I shared with my sister and pulled on the overhead light, that just made the mounds of dead chickens and roosters MORE vivid and some were even on the bed. Dad scooped me up and covered my eyes and mom rocked me to sleep. the next day dad showed me some feathers in his workshop he used to tie flies and asked me which ones I saw. The closest ones were chinese pheasent. Then we went to my Indian grammas house and she said I didnt have to ever eat fowl or eggs and that alot of people, especially in China would die of them. Then my Misho(grampa) said he had seen in a vision at Holy Virgen church that in my time the yellow race would rule the world or destroy it trying unless we all straigtend up. He often saw stuff and grammys family were all big time medicine people so this must run in some families.
You had a lucid dream. draw out as best you can in pencil the main scenes...then tap the lines of what youve drawn for more info. These dreams are like walking a tight rope over Niagra...you dont see behind you or whre youre going only the spray and noise and intense feelings of the moment.

i hope this links correctly.
this is the video i mentioned earlier, about how it was similar too. Keep in mind, it was not just moving across the sky, but more of "getting closer and closer, expanding its size".
