Re: Bible Says Current Civilization Will Last 6000 Years
Lisa, why not post your threads where they will be more effective and where the majority of people welcome them, say, a religion/Christianity-based forum?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 30914744

Because you wouldn't be there reading them.
 Quoting: Lisa*Lisa

But Lisa, most of us AREN'T reading it. We come in, 1 star, leave hateful remarks about your religious choices and the fact that what you're posting is irreverent to the majority here, and then leave. I'm guilty of it. All I have to see is "Bible says" or "Jesus told me" or anything along those lines, and I immediately just write it off as "worthless text". I'm not trying to be mean, I'm just being honest with you.
 Quoting: Bilbo Baggins

And that's fine with me, to each his own. Maybe someday you'll feel differently...and maybe not. Your choice, your life.
 Quoting: Lisa*Lisa

Lisa's right. After we die, then the judgment. There are only two destinations, heaven and hell. Only two.
People are either saved, or lost. Saved inclues those who WILL admit their need for the Savior before the end. So there are the saved (including those who will be saved before their last breath on earth), and the lost. Take your choice. The more an unsaved person mocks and ridicules God, His Word and His people, the harder their hearts become and less likely they will ever receive the love of the truth so as to be saved.

Lisa, why do you insist posting threads and pinning them when no one wants to see it? This is a conspiracy site... not a religion site. I just think your effort is useless here. Just saying, I'm not saying you should leave or anything.. I just don't see the point of what you post.
 Quoting: Bilbo Baggins

You might not see the point of it, but Jesus does.
 Quoting: Lisa*Lisa

Not sure where his comment is so I will answer on your remark...

Many people wants to see Lisa’s posts and look forward to them… like me…

You want to talk about conspiracies… Any knuckle head can see that there is more than meets the eye as far as the government today… evil runs ramped throughout… wars and enslaving humanity… did you know that most members of the government today are satan worshipers?

The root of these posts is a wakeup call for humanity to see the duality and to choose life (Jesus, Heaven, Freedom, Peace, Love, etc…) or death (satan, government, slavery, to act with no conscience, etc…)
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 8592271

God is tenderly calling the lost wherever they are, wherever they may be...
As for the poster who ridiculed the rapture,
it was written 2,000 years ago that "in the last days mockers will come with their mocking, and saying where is the promise of His coming?" "With the Lord, a day is as a thousand years." He's coming. And He will be exactly on time.

17 He moveth his tail like a cedar: the sinews of his stones are wrapped together.

20 Surely the mountains bring him forth food, where all the beasts of the field play.
21 He lieth under the shady trees, in the covert of the reed, and fens.
22 The shady trees cover him [with] their shadow; the willows of the brook

Yay! excellent point! Yes, God created dinosaurs; God created everything. The Bible does specifically point out that God also created dinosaurs (even though that isn't the word used) They clearly existed; the Bible attests to that.

According to the bible God would be the one who hardens peoples heart.
I don't believe that posting videos of others opinions is witnessing to others.
You witness to people by the fruits of your own labor. You become an example of Christ.
Saying to people that not believing in Jesus will get you eternity in hell, and if they think differently they are lost souls damned to hell is not what Jesus would do.
He led by example.
Let's talk about a forum like this. It is a conspiracy theory site, made up of fringe beliefs, people that role play and alternate news.

You tell me where the good news of the gospels fits in here? Wouldn't this be considered pearls before swine?

There are archaeological sites that date back much longer than that. People forget how much the bible has been tampered with.
 Quoting: MartianPrincess

Secular people forget how much the devil has distorted what archaeology really tells us.

The convulsions, distortions and catastrophes the earth has been through in the past 6,000 years is unfathomable. Since creation, the bible describes in many places how the earth and space have been stretched out like a tent.
Just the devastation of the Flood alone is mind boggling, not to mention the rupturings of the earth preceding the Flood when the waters ripped out of the deep, then the dividing. Secular geologists seem not to have a clue what the earth has been through.
The topography of the earth has been through many throes, and many ancient artifacts (pre-Flood) from several thousand years are found from deep within the earth. Archaeologists wrongly attribute them to "millions of years ago."
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 33459943

so your opinion must be right because it's yours? that's all that backs you up. everyone else has been doing research. go study archaeology and geography, prove all of it is bs and then come back here with your findings. you sound like a really smart idiot. you ever thought about a career in politics?

Ezekiel 26:12: “They will plunder your wealth and loot your merchandise; they will break down your walls and demolish your fine houses and throw your stones, timber and rubble into the sea.”

Ezekiel's prophecy accurately describes how Alexander the Great built a land bridge from the mainland to the island of Tyre, when he attacked in 333-332 BC. Alexander's forces took rubble from Tyre's mainland and tossed it - stones, timber and soil - into the sea, to build the land bridge (which is still there).

Ezekiel 29:15: (Speaking of Egypt) “… I will make it so weak that it will never again rule over the nations.”

This prophecy states that Egypt would recover from a desolation (perhaps Babylon's attack about 2600 years ago), but that it would never again rule over other nations. Up until the time of Ezekiel, Egypt had been a world power for centuries, dominating many nations, including Israel. But for most of the past 2500 years, Egypt has been controlled by foreign powers, including the Romans, Ottomans and Europeans. Today, Egypt is again an independent nation, and it has always been an impressive nation. But since the time of Ezekiel, it no longer rules over other nations.

Isaiah 45:1: "This is what the Lord says to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I take hold of to subdue nations before him and to strip kings of their armor, to open doors before him so that gates will not be shut”

This prophecy states that God would open the gates of Babylon for Cyrus and his attacking army. Despite Babylon's remarkable defenses, which included moats, and walls that were more than 70-feet thick and 300-feet high, and 250 watchtowers, Cyrus was able to enter the city and conquer it. Cyrus and his troops diverted the flow of the Euphrates River into a large lake basin. Cyrus then was able to march his army across the riverbed and into the city.

Isaiah 14:23: "I will turn her into a place for owls and into swampland; I will sweep her with the broom of destruction," declares the Lord Almighty.

This prophecy stated that Babylon, which had been a world power at two different times in history, would be brought to a humble and final end. It would be reduced to swampland. After Cyrus conquered Babylon in 539 BC, the kingdom never again rose to power. The buildings of Babylon fell into a gradual state of ruin during the next several centuries. Archaeologists excavated Babylon during the 1800s. Some parts of the city could not be dug up because they were under a water table that had risen over the years.

Isaiah 13:19: “Babylon, the jewel of kingdoms, the glory of the Babylonians' pride, will be overthrown by God like Sodom and Gomorrah”

This prophecy stated that Babylon would be overthrown, permanently. History confirms that when Cyrus conquered Babylon in 539 BC, it never again rose to power as an empire. Before the time of Cyrus, however, Babylon had been defeated by the Assyrian Empire but was able to recover and later conquer the Assyrian Empire. However, like Isaiah prophesied 2700 years ago, the Babylonian Empire never recovered from Cyrus' conquest.

So, I think (respectfully stated) the point regarding prophecy is well on its way to being made here. God gave us prophecy as the ultimate standard for proving His Word is True and can be trusted! As you are probably aware, no other person / book has ever come close to hitting 100% accuracy…not even close, in fact, as I understand it, non-Biblical prophecy has never accomplished anything greater than the law of averages would allow!

Also, please keep in mind, that this is but only a handful of prophecies…and consider the implications of all the prophecies regarding Jesus alone – it’s truly staggering! You’ve may have heard the illustration where only 8 prophecies regarding Jesus being fulfilled measures out to something like 1 in 10 to the 17th power - I remember years ago working on these numbers and learning that those odds exceeded the chance of the law of gravity failing or the 2nd law of thermodynamics failing, to wit: mathematically speaking, The Word of God is more reliable then the law of gravity or the 2nd law of thermodynamics…thus it begs the question, “is God's Word not reasonable?”

Re: Bible Says Current Civilization Will Last 6000 Years
Interesting video, but I'm not sure about the exact years she is given for the end. Could be accurate, or not. But, we are nearing the end, that is for sure. It captured my attention enough to put it up and share it with others who are interested.

I believe 2015-1017 is significant somehow and this video kind of confirmed it for me personally.

Matthew 8:9 ""What do you want with us, Son of God?" they shouted. "Have you come here to torture us before the appointed time?"

There is an appointed time.....it is spelled out in the Apocrypha and Lost Scriptures also:

The Gospel of Bartholomew 16-17 "And Beliar said unto Hades: Look carefully who it is that , for it is Elias, or Enoch, or one of the prophets that this man seemeth to me to be. But Hades answered Death and said: Not yet are six thousand years accomplished."

The Letter of Barnabas 15:3-5 "This refers to the Sabbath at the beginning of creation:"God made the works of his hands in six days, and he finished on the seventh day; and he rested on it and made it holy. Pay attention, children, to what it means that "he finished in six days". This means that in six thousand years the Lord will complete all things. For with him a day represents a thousand years. He himself testifies that I am right, when he says, "See, a day of the Lord will be like a thousand years." And so, children, all things will be completed in six days - that is to say, in six thousand years. "And he rested on the seventh day." This means that when his Son comes he will put an end to the age of the lawless one, judge the impious, and alter the sun, moon, and stars; then he will indeed rest on the seventh day."

As with everything in the bible, there is a lesser and greater fulfillment. Creation in 6 days in Genesis mirrors the building of God's Kingdom over the last 6000 years. The 7th day Sabbath in Genesis mirrors the 1000 year millennial reign of Christ at the end of the 6000 years of creation, which is just about here now.

We are nearing the end of the 6000 years of creation now, and getting ready to enter into the millennial reign of Christ, the greater fulfillment of the 7th day Sabbath with Jesus ruling the earth for 1000 years.

None of those listed places got destroyed, this (and all books listed after Daniel) have to do with the end of the iron/clay kingdom, If this was about Neb’s babylon instead of Satan’s Babylon it would have been in Daniel 5 or 6.

 Quoting:

This as about the war against the two witnesses and what happens in the 3 1/2 days they are dead in the streets.

 Quoting:

It is a war that happens with the return, Egypt at that time is in Zec:14 rather than some period in the OT.

 Quoting:

There was no big battle of the verse below could not have happened nor was the verse from Isaiah fulfilled and it is part of the same passage.

Da:6:27:
He delivereth and rescueth,
and he worketh signs and wonders in heaven and in earth,
who hath delivered Daniel from the power of the lions.
Da:6:28:
So this Daniel prospered in the reign of Darius,
and in the reign of Cyrus the Persian.

Isa:45:22:
Look unto me, and be ye saved,
all the ends of the earth:
for I am God, and there is none else.

 Quoting:

Babylon never suffered that fate, however Satan’s Babylon will suffer just such a fate.

Re:11:8:
And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city,
which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt,
where also our Lord was crucified.

Re:18:19:
And they cast dust on their heads,
and cried,
weeping and wailing,
saying,
Alas,
alas,
that great city,
wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness!
for in one hour is she made desolate.

I like what you wrote. It sums up what many have missed--not taking into consideration the pre-flood world and the destruction. I've always wondered about what the bible says about things being stretched out like a tent. Can you elaborate? thanks

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 33459943

If it has been distorted how do you know the devil was behind it. He would leave it in perfect condition (like he had a choice) and just say it is corrupt. No doubt you have eliminated that possibility from your world.

The convulsions, distortions and catastrophes the earth has been through in the past 6,000 years is unfathomable. Since creation, the bible describes in many places how the earth and space have been stretched out like a tent.
 Quoting:

If this is the right one it is giving size differences. It is saying the earth is a circle so it is a 'closed loop' as far as people go who will be viewed as a 'swarm' in that they will be many when gathered for celebrations when the new earth exists.
There are 3 heavens, what is the 2nd heaven today (from the moon to as far as the universe goes) will be the outside limits of where man can go and still be in the new earth so mankind is still in their 'tent' when they explore the whole place during eternity.

Isa:40:22:
It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth,
and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers;
that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain,
and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:

Just the devastation of the Flood alone is mind boggling, not to mention the rupturings of the earth preceding the Flood when the waters ripped out of the deep, then the dividing. Secular geologists seem not to have a clue what the earth has been through.
 Quoting:

The 1st heaven was created in the 2nd day of creation, it goes from the surface of the dry ground or the surface of liquid water and as high as the clouds that birds fly in.

The flood consisted of water in the ocean evaporating to the extend the ocean levels dropped by 5 feet and the moisture rose to cloud height and moved over land and fell as rain to the tune that all land areas got 20 ft of rain in 40 days. It fell as snow on the high hills and mountain tops and that is why it took 150 of melting before the tops were visible again. That is no more of a supernatural feat than predicting it would happen 100 years before it happened.

The topography of the earth has been through many throes, and many ancient artifacts (pre-Flood) from several thousand years are found from deep within the earth. Archaeologists wrongly attribute them to "millions of years ago."
 Quoting:

The old earth creation medal allows the earth to be 4,000,000,000 yeas old, for each end of day take away one zero and you end up at 4,000, the year in BC time of the end of day 7 and the exit from the garden.

If you did a weather model of the mid-east during the ice-age the dead sea would have fresh water fish in it and the rainfall for the promised land area would be what the river in Eze:47 flows in a year.

Why isn't that sort of information used in explaining what the Bible is saying?

Right on, Lisa! We "opted out" of the holidays about 5 years back and I am so happy that others have listened to the Father as well...my extended family still try to force it upon us and our kids, but we put our foot down and refuse to celebrate what we know to be wrong. Godbless you!
