So, I think (respectfully stated) the point regarding prophecy is well on its way to being made here. God gave us prophecy as the ultimate standard for proving His Word is True and can be trusted! As you are probably aware, no other person / book has ever come close to hitting 100% accuracy…not even close, in fact, as I understand it, non-Biblical prophecy has never accomplished anything greater than the law of averages would allow!

Also, please keep in mind, that this is but only a handful of prophecies…and consider the implications of all the prophecies regarding Jesus alone – it’s truly staggering! You’ve may have heard the illustration where only 8 prophecies regarding Jesus being fulfilled measures out to something like 1 in 10 to the 17th power - I remember years ago working on these numbers and learning that those odds exceeded the chance of the law of gravity failing or the 2nd law of thermodynamics failing, to wit: mathematically speaking, The Word of God is more reliable then the law of gravity or the 2nd law of thermodynamics…thus it begs the question, “is God's Word not reasonable?”
