After IRS Makes Income Tax Deposits, BOFA Goes Down

Yeah, I went to check out my balance and had to log in twice, and then it only gave me the first page... no ability to see what has or hasn't cleared. Their apologies, and try again later. SIGH!

They bought out the much smaller bank that we've been doing business with for many years. And it would be a pain in the neck to get my pay shifted from BofA to another.

When I retire (some day, some where, some when)we'll go with another local bank. Until then...

I would not be sad if BoFA went down in flames over the weekend. And if the aforementioned actually does happen, I hope that Chase, Citibank and Wells Fargo go with them...

Its a simple form to change your direct deposit to a different institution. If that small effort is too much, then stfu and deal with the evil empire banks.

I use a credit union to run money through and pay bills for free. I would never utilize a big bank like BOA or Chase, they are destroying our country. Giving them free use of your money and paying them fees is feeding the beast. Get some gumption and gtfo of these banks!

I moved away from that "entity" just over a year ago having seen a growing trend in these large banks increasingly having issues....I believe it's gonna git worse.

So, Canadian banking systems go down earlier in the week and now U.S.? Hmmm...

TD and BMO did disclose their systems having difficulties, but CIBC did not. Visa down nationwide as well. This was on the 28th. On the 29th, out came news reports of Moody's downgrading all of the big Canadian banks.

What are they not telling us?

Just speculating if the problems at BofA are to the extent that they go down suddenly like WAMU did a few years back. I'm kinda 50/50 on this because BofA has been under constant computer hacking attacks -- and this may be another one in progress. Which, in a worst case senario, BofA could possibly burn up in the atmosphere...

True, but most of those things are unverifiable and not experienced personally. This is a recurring issue that is not only reported on mainstream news, but experienced by many on GLP as well as people they know personally.

Anyone who banks with the to BIG TO FAIL BANKS is nuts because they have already failed. That is apparent and the FDIC does not have any money either it is called an ILLUSION. Just like 911 the biggest illusion ever.

When all the banks started merging 10 years ago that was the beginning of the end. They are merging bankrupt banks together to hide the reality that they are all broke. It just gives them more time to pull the swindle off.
