After IRS Makes Income Tax Deposits, BOFA Goes Down

02/01/2013 is Bank of America Online Banking Down? I can't log into my account?
It's Friday 02/01/2013 and I'm not able to log into my online banking with Bank of America. Every-time I try to log in - it just keep going back to enter my user-name. I want to know if anyone is having the same trouble? My cell phone so I can't call and can't get to Bank fo America online chat for support.

Yes I just checked and some branches are locked closed, and the one that was open said their computers are down nationwide and they are trying to fix such, without a time frame of when it would be back up. They insisted the ATMs were still working

Central Texas-as of about an hour and a half ago,I was in the local BofA,and I left when the lines for the tellers stopped moving. They're having some kind of issues,not able to tell if it's a local thing,or all over the place.

The best way to deal with it is to open an Account with credit Union that requires only $ 10/00. Then ask them for direct deposits. Once you settled there, then transfer your money from other bank to credit union. If there are some other ideas how to deal with the situation, I will be personally interested to learn

Can't log on. When I call 1.800.432.1000 the message says their systems are 'temporarily' down.

I travel a lot.. And do business nationwide.. Does your bank have branch in every city in the US? I didn't think so...

Not sure if related, but I have been having multiple Internet issues this morning.

My checking etc are not with BOA, but my mortgage, and credit card were sold to BOA without my permission several years ago.

Would it prudent to change either ??? No, because nothing says after paying to remortgage, the hassle, etc, they wouldn't be sold right back to them.

Guess they will have to wait for February's payments .... great timing by the way ... think of all the late payment penalties to be made if not resolved ASAP.

Good lord, no wonder the big banks feel invincible, sheep will not change.

Still down, GTFO of BofA if you can. Go to a local bank or if you must stay with them only leave enough money in the account to cover the months bills.

They could be destroyed in days if everyone would just pull their money out a little at a time.

A couple days ago, I paid a bill to BofA to a person on the phone. Both their internet bill pay and phone computer service were down. Amazingly, their phone person said they wanted to improve personal relations with customers, or some such nonsense.

I bank with a Credit Union and travel the world. I can get money anywhere I go.

This sucks I havent even been able to find out if my direct deposit from payroll went through.

I moved from Chase years ago to a local Credit Union.

I cannot believe the difference. They know you by name, always super low rates on loans, always get loans......

I sorta hope people stay with the big banks. Once everybody figures out how great the smalls ones are they are gonna move and fuck everything up for me.

Yup. Rat bastards have fucked me raw on my mortgage. The only reason I still pay it is because it's winter outside. Refi-ed to get away from them years ago, the refi company sold it back to them within a month!
