Are divorced Christians condemned to hell?

One of God’s main rules is on divorce and his policy is ---- let no man put asunder.
[link to bibleapps.com]

IOW, there are no excuses for divorce and it is a sin to do it.

This view is enforced by Jesus and he chastised Moses for adding terms for divorce.

Divorced Christians, ---- statistics show up to 60% of all Christians, ---- are thus living in sin and I wondered if Christians thought that they were condemned because of their choice to divorce.

If you are a divorced Christian, do you think God’s policy just and if not, why do you remain a condemned Christian?

no.---
were fallen--we slip,
sin.

Christ loves us and gave us a way out.

The questions are.

Do you actually follow Christ---not just the parts you think of--but do you dig--do you internalize the bible and guard against the ways of the world?
or do you avoid the confrontational stuff and tell yourself that you follow Christ?

---

Jesus Christ is the toughest man ever to walk the earth...

He loved, with all the hate
He came to save.
He also, in no uncertain terms came to spell out the end for so many.
and they hated Him for it.

His message is not always pretty.
Christians are severely challenged and tempted by the devil and the secular useful idiots of the devil.

christians are supposed to be like Christ---yes i try, but really--He is God-- i am a fallible man.
I can tell you, I fail the test regularly.
however--i will be damned if I teach it.

Matthew 18:6
"These little ones believe in me. It would be best for the person who causes one of them to lose faith to be drowned in the sea with a large stone hung around his neck.

---

Now a days, many christians and INO christians--unbelievers as well, cherry pick there belief system, to justify there lifestyle.

you know.

don't judge.
don;t eat shell fish.
etc.

its all taken out of context--the meaning butchered.

---

where do you fall?

trying to get what jesus is teaching in the bible?
or
studying the bible to discover how to mold it to your key world views/attributes?

---

remember Jesus knows your heart--and this will be the frame of reference when your before Him on your judgement day.

were you for Him?
or
for Him for yourself?

It is indeed but in divorce cases it is not willful sin but a natural desire to find a loving mate and to force some poor unloving people to stay married is anti-love and anti-Christ.

God cares about what is in the heart and not what one does with their sexual parts.

Believers who think otherwise have no compassion of heart and are certainly not thinking of what Jesus would preach.

Re: Are divorced Christians condemned to hell?
Christianity was a Psy-Op created
by Rome to help them win the Hebrew
wars in the 1st and 2nd Centuries.
It was designed to divide and conquer
the Hebrew tribes and turn them into
perfect Roman Citizens whom paid double
taxes since the Church collected 10%
of their wages and gave it to the
Roman Emperor.

Once you understand how Christianity
was used as a stepping stone for Rome,
then you come to terms with it being
a total fabrication.

it's mind programming, to turn you
into a slave. nothing more, nothing less.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 33459291

The fable known as Jesus.

A child was born out of wedlock
in Alexandria Egypt. His name
was Cessarian. His father was
Julius Caesar and his mother
was Cleopatra.

Upon Caesar's death, Cleopatra sent
Cessarian to India with an armed
convoy. Miriam was Cleopatras'
most trusted maid servant and
Yosef of Arimithia was her uncle
who sold Miriam into slavery
to Cleopatra.

Cessarian left Egypt when he was
12 yrs old and Yosef used the spice
route to get Cessarian to Tibet.
On the road to Tibet, Yosef gave
him a new identity to protect him
from harm since Cessarian was a
wanted fugitive by Emperor Octavian.

His new name became Issa.

translated Issa means sons of Isis,
which Cleopatra considered herself
the reincarnation of Isis. The Hebrew
translation was Ieusus. Translated to
English = Jesus.

Issa arrived at the Hemis Buddhist
monestary at the age of 14 in Tibet
where he learned Buddhist practices
of healing with herbs and prayer, walking
on water, raising the dead with prayer, etc..

Issa stayed in Tibet til he was 28 yrs old
then left for Alexandria Egypt to find his
half sister Selene (Mary Magdelena) who was
also Cleopatra's younger daughter to help him
regain his rightful throne of Egypt. Issa
was a Ptolemy King by birthright.

Once he got to Egypt he not only found
Selene his half sister but also found
his half brother James (Helios) whom both assisted
him to regain his throne of both Egypt
and Rome.

There was an active Psy-Op by Issa to dethrone
Octavian (Emperor Augustus Caesar). Issa
was going to use religion and Buddhist spirituality
to regain his kingdom thus his ministry started.

Since Issa was only half Roman, he was not accepted
by the Romans and his Roman half was not accepted
by Hebrews which is why he was crucified.

However, Issa knew healing herbs and used
them during his crucifiction. His adopted father
bribed a Roman guard to give him a sleeping agent
in the vinegar he recieved on the cross. This agent
induced a comatose state of death but he did not die.
He was placed in a tomb where his body was
annointed with aloes and healing gels til he
awakened from his sleeping agent.

His hopes of becoming ruler of an empire was
put asunder at that point since he was not accepted by either
Romans or Hebrews so he made his way back to
Tibet where he died at age 80 after having married
and having a son by the name of Eli Kim.
This birth is noted on the stone walls of the
Temple of Solomon in Tibet as Issa being the father
when he was 54 yrs old.

Issa's burial tomb is in Srinegar India, better known
as Kasmir region.

Issa never claimed to be the son of God. This was
added by the Romans later as a Psy-Op against
the Hebrew Tribes during the Hebrew Wars.

This happened many yrs later when wealthy aristocratic
Roman families used Issa's story to divide and conquer
the Hebrew war tribes. They wrote that Issa was the
savior of the Jews so that the Jews would no longer
fight Rome and be good slaves to the Roman Empire.

So your Christianity was actually a Psy-Op that
the Romans reversed to use to their advantage.

and the truth is revealed.

Cessarian = Issa = Jesus

What a game for your God to play!

Create a place for eternal bliss as well as a place for eternal suffering or death.

Then create beings whom he loves dearly and watches over.
And in the end, decide which to consider "trash" and "throw away" into the place for eternal suffering or death and which to cling to and love in the place for eternal bliss.

Even man, with all his faults, is greater and more moral and responsible.

Not true.
Jesus gave one acceptable reason for divorce.
Infidelity.

If a wife (or the kids) is being physically or
mentally abused, she should IN NO WAY,
stay in such a marriage.

If someone believes they ended a marriage, and
it was a sin to do so:

1 JOHN
8 If we say that we have no sin,
we deceive ourselves,
and the truth is not in us.

9 If we confess our sins,
he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins,
and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

10 If we say that we have not sinned,
we make him a liar,
and his word is not in us.

Just a little perspective on this. The Pharisees were using Moses' divorce laws to toss their hags and marry young nubile trophy wives. At that time those religious leaders would be like a CEO or a celebrity and could therefore attract a young woman.

Jesus condemned their practice as adultery. Now divorce is still wrong and no christian should ever seek it, except for the obvious exceptions that Jesus states, adultery , but context is very important in such a discussion.

Yes it is willful sin and is against the holy law of God. What you purport is what is anti-Christ since it was Yeshua who spoke on this matter. It is willful sin no matter how you try and spin it. And God cares that we are obedient to his will and that we don't live sinful lives. You are committing the sin of adultery because you are still married in the eyes of God and God hates divorce.

Total rubbish.

"And the Pharisees came to him, and asked him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife? tempting him. And he answered and said unto them, What did Moses command you? And they said, Moses suffered to write a bill of divorcement, and to put her away. And Jesus answered and said unto them, For the hardness of your heart he wrote you this precept. But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife; And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. And in the house his disciples asked him again of the same matter. Jesus himself says that he cannot forgive and that only the father can ------

Ezekiel 18:20
The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.

Unless of course you think God can be bribed and would promote human sacrifice. Your choice.

if one is a man he can expect a certain sort of legal hell for decades after his wife gets bored and decides to leave him.

as for your god, i cannot say.. he does seem to be cranky though.

Are divorced Christians condemned to hell?

One of God’s main rules is on divorce and his policy is ---- let no man put asunder.

Not my God friend.

The Godhead I know is pro-love. Not anti-love.
