The answer under this empirical view can only be in black and white; someone, somewhere clings to ancient words, penned by ancient men in lieu of the realities life brings. People kill, maim, torture, and commit atrocious acts based on an inordinate object, a book, which book? The right book...so cover your eyes, ears, and mouths and by all means continue reading while the world around you collapses...because what you think you know will save you and never mind that if your eyes were open, you could have just simply stepped out of harms way or intervened to help another out of harms way, but the book says they are bad, did something wrong to deserve this treatment, therefore feel justified to cast stones but be careful not to destroy your glass houses!
