God, this doesn't even seem like my country anymore, it's definitely not what I was told we were all about.

We can't even call ourselves free!

We can't even claim that we have representation through elected public servants!

We can't even say that we have a fair and legal free capitalist society any longer!

We can't say that we are fighting for freedom, when we have none, and we are invading and installing banks!

We can't say we are a nation of peace, whenever we have become the invaders.

We can't claim that we have justice, whenever everyone in government is above the law, and giving all our tax dollars to wall street and the bankers.

We are the most spied upon people on the planet

THe most indebted nation in history

THe largest prison population per capita on earth.

The most drugged out society in human existence.

We slaughter the unborn by the millions and call the mayans savages for their blood sacrifices.

We are disgusting, corrupt, bankrupt, desperate, and dying as a people.
 Quoting: GodFrequency

NKorea (not vetted) probably has a higher incarceration rate
Almost all of SE Asia has a higher drug addiction rate

is anyone preventing you from walking outside right now?

you've overblown quite a few of your claims

OP, we are ALL in this together.

Some just don't know yet.

Wanna know what I'm doing?

Leaving.

Just quitting society.

They kill me, at least I will have been alive in the first place.

Living means to love and cherish all without fear. To take care of our home, our own, and live small.

We changed that when we created a money system. It is putting faith behind something that you MUST have to live.

All you need is love!

I'm headed west. In Indiana now. Its too highway filled, cold, small and close minded.

Please, PLEASE read Fahrenheit 451.

Know there is NOWHERE to hide! Just get away from large areas and live on the down low. Remember NO FEAR!

This machine is destroying the middle class.

It's destroying what jobs I use to have coming in.

It's destroyed my industry.

It's bailing out the rich through QE welfare candy for wall street, and foodstamp cellphone candy for the poor.

Meanwhile the gap is growing, and we are all getting weaker.

Yet, everyone I talk to says don't do anything, I've listened for the last three years as one dooms day prediction after another has come and gone. Every time I think the elite are about to be dethroned Icelandic style, they break a law that is totally ignored, never prosecuted, and allows them to keep the charade going for another couple months. Bailouts, money creation, theft like MF Global, laundering money like HSBC, and yet no one goes to jail.

I've come to understand that TOO BIG TO FAIL means one thing, it means the destruction of the middle class, and the strip mining of our nation.

So many people have lost everything, many others are struggling, and yet even more are cheating, or turning to criminal activity just to survive, including the states that have legalized everything lately except for prostitution.

I have no more dreams, and I was a dreamer.
There is no future, they've taken that away.
 Quoting: GodFrequency

Today, I was trying to set out a 5 year plan, with new goals. There are so many uncertainties, I don't even know what is feasible and for how long anymore. First time I ever had this problem. I am a goal setter and I get there. But I feel demoralized by what you are describing.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 17851333

My experience exactly!

Anyone know how I can locate other true Americans who still believe in the founding ideas of this nation.

We need to find one another so we can support each other. I want to spend my limited dollars making sure your businesses stay up and running. I want to buy products and services from others who want to be self supporting and free,.

Anyone know of an association or organization who attracts this kind of member? I want to join.

It might appear that nobody is doing anything to get rid of these parasites by conventional means because TPTB invested a great deal of time, money & effort (ours, ironically!) ensuring that a system of fear & control was in place before they started their end game. Now their boldness is their weakness & will be their undoing.

Trust me OP... the rules by which they operate are being undermined & marked for demolition at every level. There is now a tangible sense of their frustration that things aren't going according to the naive play they have been enacting & palpable fear of what might be coming their way. They are correct in their suspicion but predictably unimaginative in how bad they expect things to get!
Trust this... the reversal of their fortune will be extremely sudden & disproportionately violent. Think French revolution & multiply by 100; I would not want to be in their shoes when the people snap, and they will... all across the World like a tsunami of anger.

You will be surprised (& probably somewhat amused) to hear who leads the charge. 'The enemy of my enemy is my friend', as the saying goes.

Just adding info:

FHA now rules that with every FHA home loan you have to pay an upfront mortgage insurance and increased the mortgage insurance to 1.75%.That can tack on an extra 230 dollars to a simple $125,000 mortagage payment So now not only are you paying for a mortgage back to the bank but also paying insurance to them for them.
Can it get crazier? Yep.
they blame anyone that purchases an FHA loan is most likely to default on the loan! Because of low downpayment.
they claim that anyone under a 740 FICO score will default.
AND
They claim that houses are going up in price when the truth is totally the opposite. No one can afford them. No jobs.

and crazier yet.
Fannie Mae has begun getting appraisors to hand out low appraisals 15 to 20% lower on a home. With really bad comps. Then waiting for homeowners that NEED to sale their houses go into default, colletcting that MIP and turning around foreclosing on the house then putting it back on market for that extra 15 to 20%.
Driving realtors, buyers and sellers bonkers.

Unethical.
 Quoting: RED SHOES

Always have been.. it's also 'relocation' at a different angle..also heard they're buying up houses in upscale neighborhoods and section 8 them. That brings down the value of the other houses in this neighborhood and puts the rest of the homeowners upside down in a mortgage.

Believe it or not, reading this thread actually makes me feel relieved in a way. I've been wondering lately if I'm the only person feeling the way you are describing. It's nice to know I'm not the only one having trouble and wondering how long the storm is going to last. I honestly hope things change soon, but am also mentally prepared for this way of life to last a long time. I haven't given up on my dreams, although I've scaled my expectations down. Just gotta keep trying, and focusing on the positive things in life, even if they seem scarce. The way I see it, all that really matters is being a good person. A third political party could be a start.

The Dems and Repubs are hopeless and totally corrupt.

We need a new party, infused with young, up-and-coming lovers of freedom and liberty -- kind of a truely "retro" party based soley on the Constitution.

There are surely Congresspeople and Senators who would embrace a new direction. If such a party's ideas are presented clearly and with integrity, it could catch fire like Obama did in 2008.

There needs to be a fundamental change in human consciousness.

I know that sounds all "new agey" and hippy and love everyone...

But it's true.

The fact is the elite are nothing more than opportunists. They aren't to blame. THE PEOPLE are to blame. WE give them an opportunity, and they take it. It's as simple as that. We all like to point the finger, but WE ARE TO BLAME. Please think about that. Even if you don't agree, just think about it every now and then, next time you want to complain.

No government, no religion, no economy, no law can protect against opportunists. Why? Because whenever a society improves itself, it inevitably becomes complacent.

If the people did defeat the elite and it was up to the people to establish a new government, which would it be? Dictatorship, democracy, republic, socialism?

How would you protect the government against selfish opportunists? The answer: YOU WOULDN'T.

Why?

Because all people are selfish, greedy, materialistic...and completely out of sync with universal spirit, nature...literally everything outside of "ME".

I"ve been considering forming an 'intentional community' for several years...but finding like minded people is very difficult. The most difficult part is the finances. How to make a living after the relocation. Money does get in the way. It would be easy if I were single...then anything is possible...but with a family, it becomes more complex.

It has been said that the Mountains of the appalachians or Rockies will be the only place where 'relative peace' will exist in small groups/communities.

Tesla already proved that it's possible.

There have to be smart minds out there that can figure it out.

Free energy would wipe out starvation in an instant. Think about it. You could have a little free energy machine in the basement providing all the electricity, all the heat, and you could even grow a garden all-year around in your basement with artificial lighting. It might not be a steak, but bare essentials like fruit and vegetables (stored in a refrigerator powered by free energy)...seriously, what more would anyone need???

I'll tell you one thing it would do: it would cause people to have a lot more free time to create things for the love of art and not the love of money!
