It reminded me of a darker more vicious Blazing Saddles. Not yet the wife and I are stuck on Dexter right now we are one season behind so any spare time we watch that. Thanks for the tip...we will watch it soon The most terrifying words in the English language are: I'm from the government and I'm here to help. |

I don't know, if Flight is stilling playing, go see it. Best picture of the year. Not sure if it will win it, but it deserves it. Best character study type of movie I have ever seen. Denzel Washington and John Goodman are both phenomenal. |

Quoting: Lucky Charms Worth seeing just for Joe G Levitt's performance as a young Bruce Willis. Kid is a fine actor. That kid is a great actor. Does a fantastic young Bruce Willis. Decent Sci Fi menus a few things I caught or didn't like. But that is just nitpicking. Looper is a good sci fi movie. Very entertaining and great-good acting. |

| Anonymous Coward User ID: 31557420 02/01/2013 05:00 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Just checked my local listing OP (haven't gone to the theater in years, piratebay and my 50 inch plasma works wonders), the movies I would see or am interested I have already downloaded the screeners (screener season) from piratebay. Lincoln, Silver Linings, Zero Dark Thirty seem to be the best options. The only movie on that list I have seen is Zero Dark. Probably going to watch Django tonight so still not another on the list. I will get to them though. Have heard great things. And I love Daniel Day Lewis and Lincoln is also my favorite US president. Although I love John Adams as well (HBO series on him was great fyi). You can't go wrong with Zero Dark Thirty. Well done movie, quality acting, and a story line that is supposed to stay true to actual events. So much so there were Senate hearings on the movie. The screener is great on pirate bay. Only thing is when you aren't doing high def (screeners are not high def) and you expand it out on a 50 inch tv like I do, the shadows will be fucked. It isn't noticeable at all until really dark parts, ie. the end of the movie. But once the night vision goggles come on all is good. So there is a bought of minute of the movie you see greyish blocks if you do what I do, mainly just when the helos are a go. |

Very informative as to how men determined to be men live their lives. Rent it today! Quoting: Here for the moment 14554879 Talk about a shitty movie. Worst movie I watched this year goes to Lawless. | Anonymous Coward User ID: 31557420 02/01/2013 05:05 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Life of Pi (a very nice soul food flick). Quoting: Lucky Charms Django (it was great to see a proper Tarantino western). The Hobbit (just because, you know... "big big movie", was kinda draggy though). Pretty sure all 3 are still in theaters. Not in mine. FYI, the books "Life of Pi" and "The Hobbit" are both supposed to be great. If you are an avid reader, I would read them first, as was recommended for me to do as well. And I will. |

Maybe you just need to stop turning your brain to shit. |
| oneLOVEsoulJAH User ID: 26915578 02/01/2013 05:12 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | If you enjoy political intrigue... Netflix has a new series called House of Cards that premiered today. I have found that this series is well scripted, the cinematography pleasant to watch, it is intelligent and at times painfully realistic when it comes to portraying political corruption and manipulation as well as lobbying back deals. Stars Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright. Directed by James Foley and one of the executive producers is Andrew Davies. I am on episode 4 and I am very impressed as I usually prefer British T.V. (over American T.V.) as a more intelligent source of thought provoking and interesting T.V.. There are 13 Chapters (episodes) so it will take me the weekend to watch and I am looking forward to it. Also for the 9-11 conspiracy theorists who believe in the the "thoughtful" placement of the numbers relating to 9-11 in movies produced since the event, well I won't spoil it anymore than what I have just told you. oneLOVE oneLOVEsoulJAH |
