Why no answers to where and how the moon arrived? The biggest lie in history......NASA put men on the moon in 1969. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 8434843 40 years is enough. Pics or gtfo. 10 minutes of googling and you can have all the answers to your questions... right or wrong... agree or disagree... there are answers out there... I personally dont believe we went to the moon in the way they said we did... If we ever did it was with technology we are completely unaware of thats what I believe... I also believe in the tooth fairy... how else did that quarter get under my pillow? Last Edited by Dr. Acula on 02/01/2013 05:04 PM _______________________ |

He was particularly inspirational to me when I was in college. I hope NASA learns the lessons from this incident. Wayne Hale gets it now. Never give up hope. |

We got to met Col. Husband a few months before the mission. He was at TTU to talk to the cadets. My husband was stationed at the AFROTC Det. then. Somewhere, in the forest of boxes, we've got some pics. Sorry guys, I'll never find them in time to post to the thread. |

He gave a talk before the band went on stage. I remember being the only one to go talk to him one on one after he got off stage, everyone else was there for the concert. I was there just so I could get the chance to meet and talk to him. Yeah, I'm a serious astrotard. |

I was up early the day of the crash, but I laid down on the couch for a bit to watch the news. My dogs that I had at the time started going nuts. All kinds of barking and howling. I must have yelled at them several times, but they wouldn't settle down. About an hour later, the crash was on the news. It was breaking up over our house and the dogs knew it. Quoting: Texan Buckeye Thats pretty wild! Thanks for sharing! :) Last Edited by Dr. Acula on 02/01/2013 05:26 PM _______________________ |

Most of the debris started falling a couple of hours East of here, but some small pieces were found about half an hour North of Lubbock. It made it worse, knowing 2 hometown guys were on that mission. |

It's an interview with the couple that found the piece of the shuttle out here. I was wrong about where it was. It wasn't half an hour North of Lubbock, it's about 45 minutes West of Lubbock. [link to everythinglubbock.com] I was hoping to find a video of the story, but this is a transcript of the story. |
