here's a good one. cameras are direct wired, no wireless. network connection is also wired, no wireless. remote access is direct. [ link to www.harborfreight.com] read the net setup in the manual available for download, works with phones, or computers remotely and direct to the dvr. It's also infrared, so yes, night vision. Wow. I was going to post a thread asking about the best security system to buy. 4 cameras would be plenty, along with night vision, and remote access. This one is good? for the money it is good. picture is pretty clear and does what it says it does. The network connection can be a little difficult to set up, but at least it's not uploaded to a cloud server and doesn't transmit data 24/7. Works when accessed with username/password and direct link to your machine. You can always just unplug the network cable when you are at home if you are worried about it being tapped into.
