Found this site cause one night I received a weird phone call with a recording of a lady speaking Spanish I typed the phone number into Google and one click lead to another, some one on here had made a thread about the same number..

It's sort of like when someone has a booger in their nose...

Sometimes it's better to say nothing and laugh inside...


Other times it's like "HEY, YOU GOT A BOOGER!!!" then laugh out loud.

The Deepwater Horizon explosion was what brought me to GLP...

By luck or fate I found a link to a GLP thread on that topic while searching Google for info...

Me and 1000's of other Doomtards watched it all live via ROV mounted cameras.

I remember just watching for hours as the broken well head vented right into the GOM...

That giant brownish plume that looked more volcanic than anything else...

There were times that I could have swore that you could make out menacing faces within the plume...some very devilish and evil looking...

That was my introduction to DOOM.

I don't post much, but i do need my daily addition of Doom and news lol.
Even in work i have GLP in an open tab and refresh probably once or twice in work.
It must be about 5 years or so, can't remember now.
But the info you get here is next to nothing and it keeps drawing you in.
I like to think I'm not addicted but i am.

maybe I miss the phone book style refferanceing

other than that it's just a bunch of people putting stuff up their ass and creditor cumming in their pants to soon

reading history is fun sometimes even if you know everything is a lie

It was fun thinking I had to stay strong because somebody here was wanting to kick my ass and I'll miss that

Most of my fondest memories of GLP are from the chatroom.

A lot of interesting discussions and unique points of view.

And there was this one time when a very pretty Admin turned on the cams........

Been here a few years, last year I stopped smoking cigarettes after 40 years.. That was easy, doubt I'll ever be able to quit GLP lol

been here about 3 yrs introduced to the site via an artical in a alternate media mag,NEXUS. It was about the entidy that they had contacted and how they yous'd this web site called god like productions to overlay the entidys questions and answers, forget the threat title but fucking amazing,hooked ever since. got pretty strung out on a comet also,FUCKING ELENIN.

LOL! I left my GLP screen open on the homepage and my daughter was like WTF?

She's a member now though doesn't come on often, I have passed the doom gene on it appears. When I first discovered GLP I felt like an adopted kid that finally found their crazy family.

I don't know. I am here probably three hours a week in total. I don't think it's an addiction as much as I use it to check out alternate news, find obscure goings on, and just chat with friends like sitting at the local coffee shop.

Sure, there are weeks, especially when I have less work, that I am on here as much as two hours a day, which is too much. Of course, is that any worse than watching 'Honey Boo Boo' and 'Survivor'?

I don't know. Addiction is a matter of perspective. Some people are addicts and can't admit it. And some people think they are addicts, and just feel guilt over something that brings them joy or pleasure.

It's like masturbation, so what if you do it three times a day, as long as you are not neglecting your life, whose business is it? Same with a lot of things deemed addictive. It's all about your point of view.

been on here since 2010 and have been addicted ever since I realized this place has all the "real" news literally hours before television or anywhere else online.

this place is my new home now.. and i'll never forget the information I have read on here

One of my most fond glp moments was some years back in vc.

There was a rather colorful member called Starflame, he was always entertaining, anyway, he would mention now and again how he was sad that he lost contact with his son many many years ago and they had not had any contact since.

He revealed his sons name and a few of us in voice chat did a search and found him on facebook, sent him a message with a link back to vc.

Low and behold, this chap entered vc, he couldn't work out the settings to get the mic working but was typing away, it was in fact Starflames son.

Last I heard was that since that moment they have been in regular contact and now have a great father and son relationship.

I would have to say that was my most fond memory.

This is where it all started for me


Those were exciting times! It was over half a decade ago now, which is crazy to think about. GLP, I can't quit you.
