old white guy day

I'm 48 and my wife is a few years younger and I'm the last of 12 children with a father from WW2 that still lives in the house we built for him and my Mom next door.....do I qualify?


Sometimes I fell friken old, even though I'm still active and have a couple teenagers.

the old white guys used to be heroes, we were fathers granpas, veterans, Rotarians, the lions club, the storekeepers, uncles, doctors, barbers, farmers..... the salt of the earth, we were responsible, we were men and everyone looked to us for all and any kind of help, for rescue and guidance , advice ....we had the strong shoulders, the backbone of society.

Now what? We are demonized, we are pussified. We are criticized, we are blamed for everything. They say we are greedy, deadbeat dads, bad cops, crazy veterans, drunks, on TV we are always the bad guys while some woman or black guy is the hero or the boss....next thing you know will smith will star in the Thomas Edison story.

Well, who runs the power plant? We do! Who operates the refineries, farms the fields, drives the trucks, defends the nation, flys the planes, runs the food factories, the water plants, maintains the sewer systems, the power lines, fixes the cars, writes the software... who does most everything that must be done while everyone else takes it easy and enjoys the fruit of our labor! Old white guys! We invented western civilization and we maintain it! Just try living without air conditioning, gasoline and electric lights!

We need an old white guy solidarity day..... every old white guy should stay home for a day or two and see how it old pans out.... hell, the rest of em are so smart, let's see how they do without us!

not racist here, it's just an expression. The best old white guy at work is black, 86 years old and one of the greatest guys I have ever been around.

And add to all that crap... white guys are now whinners who bitch and moan like the people who bitch and moan about them?

We used to have pride. Thats what separated us. WE didnt cry like pussies about shit. They dont demonize you and make you guys out to be pussies, you actually have become that.
